I think the new SW Battlefront game looks absolutely fantastic... it looks and sounds like Star Wars, but there's nothing underneath the surface. The gameplay is pants, repetitive and unchallenging (for me) and must go down as one of the most dissapointing games in living memory. I really hope the same doesn't apply to TFA...

 

I agree on Padmé, but to me Obi wan was almost co-lead in ROTS, his role is more then mere support.

It's fluid... Luke, Han and Leia were the leads of the OT... Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan were the leads of the PT. I'd expect the same of the ST... with the ST being fundamentally about Rey's journey (as it was for Luke and Anakin) and Finn and Poe dipping in and out as the story requires.

That was what was speculated at the time, though I've no idea really. After what Serkis said about the design changing several times even during production, I wouldn't like to hazard a guess. He does look quite creepy though, whoever he is.

I honestly haven't followed the Plutt stuff too carefully. But I believe that current rumor is that he makes his way to Takodana to confront Rey at the bar (and gets his arm ripped off by Chewie).

If the Falcon has been on Jakku for years, it's not implausible that the only guy with money on the planet decided to adversely possess it. He or one of his goons uses it for off-planet trade or something and Plutt keeps a tracking device on board.

That would explain how he could follow Rey (after a stop on a freighter and then very unpredictable choice to go to Takodana), while the First Order needs a spy to inform them that BB-8 and company have arrived.

 

So I guess the giant scrap yard with broken down star destroyers is called Graveyard of Giants, according to Battlefront. It's amazing walking around on the planet. Feels so atmospheric.

 

It was confirmed a spy follows them to Takodana by the children's book. So i'd assume the spy is Unkar.

So is TFA 30 years after ROTJ or 40 years? If it is 40 years, are we missing a PST trilogy and may we get it one day?

so this means 36 years after ROTJ.

 

Read before wigging out. It is 40 years after ANH.

All that says is that it takes place after RotJ. Not 40 years after. He clearly states as illustrated above that TFA is 40 years after ANH. There is no need to spin up drama.
