Inferno heard the news of Lord Hyrax and was disappointed in the man. He had moved too soon in taking control of the kingdom and thus paid the price for his haste. But Inferno would not be so foolish as the late-Lord Hyrax was. He would wait for the right time to strike, in the meantime he would obey Antherio.

"Hyrax, old fool. Pray that your impatients has not cost us the victory." He muttered under his breath as he watched his little creation of a fire lizard crawl over his exposed arm and down his hand, over his palm and clamp its body around his wrist before fading into a whisp of smoke.

 

?Words can not describe my love for you, Vanessa?there are times when I wanted nothing more then you. However, I could not except that due to my career, I had people and a whole universe to look after. Now, I feel increasingly passionate about our time together. I have a deep ultimate longing, one that cannot be subdued with just a kiss. Yet, I also know our positions here on Iridonia, and how sometimes they must subdue our passions, so that the work can be done. You know I love you, but we both must realize the situation we have placed ourselves in, and we must decide on how far we want this to go?? Vanessa nodded as she stared upon him. Vanessa had started to begin to grow tired again. Standing up, she walked up to him and embraced him.

"I'll see you in the morning," she said as she layed a hand upon his face and started to head towards the door.

Making a soft swishing noise, she was out the door and heading through the halls, with her jacket and gown waving, following every moment of Vanessa's body. Passing the windows, the moon glowed upon her face and eyes. Heading back into her quarters, she had slipped back in bed and stayed awake, thinking of what Athrenino had said. He was right and she couldn't stop thinking about it. She wasn't able to fall asleep with all of these thoughts so she had gotten up and sat over by her window, looking out.

Athrenino sat there, alone on his bed. He did not know what to do or how to think, he could not even sleep. Thoughts of Vanessa filled his mind. He could not escape her, he had to explain himself. He had to go see her again. He had to fix things; he had to make them seem right. He had to show that he still cared.
He stood and walked towards his door, opening it slowly and began his walk to Vanessa?s room.
He passed the many doors along the way, but he did not care, his mind was on Vanessa alone.
He stepped up to her door, finally and knocked.
The door opened slightly and Vanessa peeked out.
"Vanessa, I could not sleep, I can't get you out of my mind, please, let us walk and talk. I need to know that you will still be there for me."

The fishing ship lifted off from the oceans and drifted up into space. The vessel continued on its way up to the jump point and the ceaseless voyaging to the next fishing grounds.

Jet Black finished up his work and went down to the rec room. About half of the crew, the more questionable half, were already assembled around a table and deep in a hushed discussion. They all turned to stare at Jet, and waited for him to move along before continuing with their conversing. Feeling that he was not welcome, Jet left the rec room and walked on to his quarters. The fourteen hour shifts had begun to wear away at him, and he gladly accepted what rest was given.

 

Iridonia

After Xes was permitted to land, she left her ship, robes flowing behind her. Her Master had told her to come here. She didn't know why; didn't really care. She would fulfill her Master's wishes, whether it took life or death. She trusted him that much; he was the only father she had ever had.

 

Raven's ship landed on corusant an hour later, and Raven's crew were all waiting for his orders in the docing bay where all the ships could be acessed. "You have till dark then I want you all back to help unload the shipment. That is all." Raven walked to his room. Leaving the over joyed crowd of rouges cheering.

 

Vanessa nodded. She then headed out the door and it closed behind her. They started to head down the hallway. Vanessa wondered what was going on in his mind now as they passed through the night.

 

Nal Hutta

Arad landed his ship on the planet, and walked over to the apartments near the docks, the ones that belonged to Galonda the Hutt.

"State your buisness," a weequay guard said.

"I have to speak to Galonda," he said.

"Fine," the guard said.

The door slid open, and the weequay led him into the aparments, up a flight of stairs, and into Galonda's room.

"What is it!?" the Hutt woman said in a deep voice.

"Arad Fel is here to see you," the weequay said to her.

"Ah, Fel," she said, looking down upon the Bounty Hunter, "What have I done to deserve this visit?"

"I'm looking for a Jedi," Arad said.

"Ah, so you've been hired by the Sith again?" Galonda laughed, "What might this Jedi's name be?"

"His name is K'dok."

"K'dok, hmm..." Galonda said, rubbing her chin.

"Oh, I remember. An assosiate of mine came in this morning, and reported a Jedi attack on a few smugglers of his. The smugglers were drunk, of course, and the Jedi was a woman. A man was seen leaving with her," Galonda said.

"Any idea who the man was?" Arad asked.

"He didn't say," Galonda replied, "But this was on Ord Mantell, just so you know."

"Thank you, Galonda." Arad said.

"Now I owe you nothing Fel," Galonda said, "Don't come bug me again!"

"I won't," Arad chuckled.


He left, and headed straight for Ord Mantell.

ooc: Darth-Protius, could you make your character land on a planet, and stay there for a while? Maybe Arad could find K'dok, and we could have a Obi-wan/Jango kinda fight. That would be cool.

 

Chalmun's Cantina, Mos Eisley, Tatooine

His hopes were fulfilled. He felt a message through the Force. The Jedi were coming to meet with him. Calmand Dankor soon revealed a smile on his face. He hadn't felt hapiness in a long time. Now he would be among friends, people who could finally understand him. He continued to listen as the Bith played their Instruments. Relaxing, Dankor once again swam in the Ocean that was the Force. I'll be waiting, he thought to his mysterious contact. And may the Force be with you too

"I don't know if I can, I don't know what would happen," Vanessa replied as she turned to look upon him again.

" I do love you and have deep feelings for you, but I just don't know what to do," she replied as one tear came down her face.

Brins was awoken and watched the landing. Weeks ago, the informant had been moved to the Sabacc tables above a Casino orbiting the polar ice caps. Seeing there was only one casino doing this, the shuttle landed. Brins left down the hangar and sent an image through the pilots head. It was an image of Brins giving the young man instructions.

"Do not let anyone come close to this ship."
"Well, anyone but me."

And with that, Brins was in the casino.


He made his way down the aisles and came to the row of Sabacc tables. He saw his informant at a table and sat down next to a beutiful, and well endowed, young woman. He turned to the dealer, his informant, and said, "Deal me in."

 

Ariel looked up so that she could look the large Jedi master in the eye "My name is Ariel Sharon, you have my eternal gratitude for your help back there, I tend to make "friends" like that easily it would seem" Ariel felt her cheeks blush slightly, she had always found it hard to admit that she needed help, and this was definately no exception. While Ariel had become used to doing everything for herself, she felt she could trust this stranger that had saved her, what did she have to lose after all? Ariel stared ahead out into space, she wish she did not have to leave her ship like this, but in the end it would be for the best. She turned back to the Chagrin in the seat next to her. "May I be as bold as to inquire why you saved me back there?

The swordfish landed in front of a floating casino and Spike got out. "I love the smell of sabaac chips in the evening." he said to himself, as he lit up.
Spike walked into the casino and a droid came over to him, pulled the cigarrette out of his mouth and crushed it to ashes. "Smoking is Prohibited" it said. Spike wanted to play sabaac, his favorite gambling game, and he wanted to do it fast, so he ignored the droid.
Spike swaggered down the isle of the casino, checking out the tables.
He sat down at one table, which looked like the dealer wasn't at the top of his game. Spike decided that it was his chance to shine and said "I'm in too."

 

OOC: I see that it is much easier to use the Tag system whenever you are involving another character from the RPG. This way, I may know where everyone is at, and with whom they are playing with/agianst, this helps me alot...thanks.

Faye examined the man who had just sat down.

There's something strange about him...but he's not too shabby looking. Easy pickings.

The dealer distributed the first pair of cards.

A fool and a queen of water and swords...seven

The newcomer called for another card, then dropped in a handful of chips. Faye did likewise.

four of pentangles...ten

The dealer kept his face rock solid, never flinching. Two other aliens and a humanoid at the table grimaced as their cards were dealt. Faye called for another, and another, and another. Soon she had reached the limit.

Fifteen...not good enough to win in any game.

The aliens revealed, each with eighteen. The newcomer then spread out his cards...a perfect sabacc. Not about to be beaten by this new arrival, Faye dropped a high-value card out of her sleeve, replacing it with the Fool, then turned over her hand.

"Oh, my, a perfect sabacc. What a coincidence." The man kept a neutral expression, and the dealers eyes widened a fraction of an inch.

The bets were kept in the center, and a new hand was dealt to each player.

Ten of cups, The Jedi Master...five

The stack of chips grew higher as another card was dealt. Faye called for two more.

Sith Adept, one of swords, six of cups...negative nine

The newcomer seemed confident enough. He asked for one more card and then dropped in another stack of chips. Faye's next card had zero value, so she would have to fix the situation herself. She reached into her handbag as if to pull out a makeup vial, but slipped another card onto the table while her sleeve covered her actions.

The newcomer revealed first this time...negative twenty. The aliens had a scattering of scores. Faye then flipped over her last cards, showing...a negative twenty.

The game continued, and the sabacc pot from the previous game carried over to the next. The accumulated stack of chips was already three times what would normally be passed around in one game. A tall, lanky man attempted to join the game, but the dealer told him that the game was closed until the winner of the sabacc pot could be found.

Faye's next two hands were nothing fantastic, but she switched the magnetic charge on her cards using a small mechanical ankle bracelet, highly illegal and expensive, turning positive cards to negatives, giving her a pure sabaac both times. To her amazement, and the amazement of the other players and the onlookers, the newcomer also had a perfect sabacc both times. Faye's funds began to run dry, but the greed caused by the accumlated wealth of the chips overcame her.

This was proving to be a most interesting game.

Brins was beginning to get angered. This had to stop and it had to stop now. The dealer had been beaten by himself and this girl for twenty hands. It was ludicrous! A winner MUST be determined. Brins held out another perfect Sabacc, and the dealer did the same, and so did the woman. A triple Sabacc! Such a feat was rarely ever seen. The dealer leaned in close to Faye and whispered something about meeting him outside the gambling hall. He said it would be rewardfull. But that she had to throw the hand. The next hand came around, Brins was one off of a perfect Sabacc, the dealer had a pure Sabacc and Faye, she laid down...

When dark came all Raven's men returned to await his orders. "We have five minutes before are transaction will occur. So I want all of you to be prepared for the worst. Ocnayson." Raven yelled not seeing him in the crowd.
"Here Master Raven." Ocnayson answered as he walked though the crowd to Raven.
"Get the key for the guns please." Raven asked.
"Yes Raven." He replied then went to the key box in his room. He was in charge of all the weapons and training that went on aboard the ship. When he got the key out of his box he went back to where Raven and the rest where.
"Unlock the gun safe." Raven ordered Ocnayson and then turned to the others. "In the safe are remote detenators and other heavy artillary type weapons. Feel free to use your blasters, but I need ten men to wait back here with a blaster riffle, and five others in their ships flying above. This is a dangerous man we are working with, and I'm not goin to take any chances. Me and ten men well go into the transport ship and meet him. My piolots will fly are ship out side this atmosphere and wait forus to dock. The five in the ships will follow the transport, but won't land. The ten men with the rifles stay on corusant and await orders. Put on a jet pack and the suits. Cloaks well not work. Lets move."
