St. Lou, MO The New St. Louis FanForce banner: "A Thought? Anyone?"

Hello members of the St. Louis FanForce. I've been thinking that the boards here might need a new change...maybe...regarding the banner...

I was wondering what all of you wanted to see in the new banner. I was going to update the pictures on the sidebar for starters. To make everyone happy (Cause I know how pictures can be... ), I'm going to say that you all should send me pictures of yourself, or tell which pictures you would want of yourself up on the sidebar. Also, I was thinking that maybe instead of a cool collage of pictures of St. Louis landmarks and images of scenes/characters/objects in Star Wars, there could be a theme or something. I do like the collage thing, but it might be nice for a change with that. So, I'm also asking what you would like to see in the new banner, image-wise. I've had a bunch of ideas myself, and I wanted to know what you all thought too. For a comedic picture, I could have a pic of Obi-Wan in TPM yelling NOOOOO!!! and a shot of Busch Stadium being torn down or an older pic of the stadium. I know that's an opinion though, and I didn't know what everyone else thought regarding that. We could definitely do something else, that was just an idea or example.

Another thing: More OT or PT pictures? Or a balance between the two? Also, do you want EU images as well in the banner? (I for one love the EU.. )

New adholders, or do you still like the ones we have? (I still do. ) I know it might depend on the banner too.

Also, what does everyone think of a potential motto for the St. Louis Fan Force? Maybe, "You're Not Alone"? It would be cool if we had a motto like that in there.

Another thing I was thinking of was a possibility of seasonal/holiday banners. What are opinions on this idea?

Updated picture sidebar (still want the Zoo image there?)

Semi-updated Arch/Vader logo

Sure, why not. Change is good. As the saying goes.

 

I think a new banner sounds great!! I like change in the scenery... I think a collage of pictures would be cool.

 

I think that a change in banner would be fun, and I like the idea of mixing OT, PT, EU and St. Louis images in there. A theme of some sort would be nice and would help to make the pictures stand out a bit more and make them easier to identify and see.

I still love the lightsaber arches, though! That's one of my favorite parts of the whole header!

 

I think getting some pictures from our events (especially in costume, like the Ep III premiere) would be especially good. More emphasis on the group, and less on the movies.

And I'm happy with the picture of me you used. Even though I have no idea where it came from.

 

Could you put a bunch of pictures of me with Obi-Wan and Luke? Kthx

Seriously, I like the collage of the members...and pictures of everyone in costume would probably be the best. Do I have time to have professional portraits done?

 

I would have to try and figure out a costume. I have plenty of lightsabers, just no costume. I have a black shirt I just need to hit the thrift store to try and find black boots, black pants and a black robe of some sort. Hmm, I wonder if they can tell I am planning to dress like a Sith Lord?

 

I'd like to see a mixture of PT & Ot pics w/ some EU.


I think it would be cool to see the Arch with the fireworks and ships in the background from the end of ROTJ.

Hey i really liked the winter theamed one, they had up this summer to cool us off. Can you put it back up now that it is winter?

 

I can, was going to wait until a little closer to Christmas though.

Yeah, summer will come after the regular one is done.

Oh, and I'm changing the look a bit on the banner. Our pics won't be on the sidebar anymore, they will be spread throughout the main banner. I think it'll look more personal that way, not squeezing them all on the side.
