That was COOL!! Thanks for posting that!! awesome.
Ok here is the bigger jump into the lake by the waterfall. It is three mins long and I don't jump until the end. So if you want to skip to there you can. If you want to watch me attempt to back out and then jump you can do that too.
hoo-rayyyyyyy!!!!!!!! very cool, Sey!
I am hoping to accomplish my goal tomorrow..................
since I have a short work day!
Well, that's one way to complete a task with a splash
I'd be too chicken to ever attempt that.
I'ld be willing after thoroughly investigating the area for what is below the surface first
We had a guide and I watched him jump first. So I knew there wasn't anything down there because I trusted him (he assured me several times that there wasn't anything to hit) and watched my SIL and brother jump first as well. I did seriously have to talk myself into it (my brother and sister in law were up there talking me through it too) and I was shaking afterwards as I swam back to shore.
That's awesome. You rock. There really isn't much better than facing adversity, choosing to overcome it, and prevailing.
Congrats Sey! That's so cool.
Now... how do you keep water from rushing up your nose and choking you when you jump besides holding your nose shut with your fingers? *to everyone*
No way! That one time with I watched that one group not hold their noses and none of them drowned!
You didn't mention drowning just holding your nose or i should say not having water go up your nose.
Yeah yeah. How do I dive without drowning by not holding my nose closed? >.>
people do it all the time go head first it's fun
>.> Nooo, first I learn how to not drown then I swim under water while holding my breath, then I do stuff, then I dive and I don't drown.
Do you know how to swim that's the first thing you learn also holding your breath under water.
I know how to swim and I can sort of hold my breath under water but not very well.
then you should be fine when diving.
It sounds really really scary! I don't like the idea of drowning. Maybe you sensed that. >.>
If you know how to swim you should be fine but instead of diving practice in the water holding your breath.
Okay. That I can do. It's funny. I like the water but it is a little scary.
Yeah i understand it can be scary. I once went rafting and during the trip i went swimming in the river and it just took me down stream. It was scary but exciting at the same time.
I went tubing once. The river was slow and about a foot deep.
The river i don't remember how deep it was but i do remember it going real fast.
