    There were cell phones without text? Really? Even the first one I got (at that time hardly anyone had one) - and it wasn't the best at the very small market - had text. Wow...
    (I hope I don't increase the pain of explaining by belonging to those people who hardly can image. If so, then sorry. [face_blush] )

    Btw if you get a smart phone, you'll find that you'll like apps. Here it was the same. We're happy with my old one, but when I got my smartY I got used to it and its apps and net too fast. ;)

    You have to pay extra for text. Talk only is really cheap. I have a baby under a year old in full time childcare so we have to be really choosey about what we spend money on. The only reason we upgraded to text and talk is because we are on a non major carrier now.

    Baby is totally worth every sacrifice ;)
