I find it somewhat a compelling case in transhumanism's favour, that an AI opposes it so strongly.

Then maybe it's a threat to the AI and AIs in general

Since people call AIs a threat to the species

We must conclude, by way of "enemy of my enemy" logic, that transhumanism is our destiny as a species.
