would you say it's good to see the oilers getting some scorers finally instead of giving them away?
(eg. weight, guerin, carter, comrie)

 

Hell yeah! but it's not the managements fault that they can't hold onto these guys. As soon as they get good they ask for more and we just can't compete with the other big market teams. I wish it was like the good ol' days when the players didn't make huge salaries and it was about the GAME.

And Edmonton lost a very important game tonight against St.louis, lets hope that doesnt happen again. I want to see play-off games darn it!

But the playoff race is still sooooo close, lets hope they don't blow it.

 

Damn Vancouver I wanted the oliers in so much not that they would have made it anyway... ohh well My leafs are in and will likely destroy ottawa.

Now thats overconfidence if I ever have heard it before.

hey up 2-1 on Ottawa, I have to say the leafs have that series pretty much wrapped up.

Come on Flames you can beat vancouver.

Here is a question how the heck did the Canadians blow it yesterday. They should have won that game. Ohh well I called Tampa to wn that series and win they shall. Lets hope my leafs can come through tonight or I will start to cry

 

oh...no... the leafs are out the only thing i have against this is that canada is now completly outta the playoffs.

 

Um, Calgary is going to the western conference final. Somehow they beat Detroit...

Well, good for the Flambés for doing well but I can't say that I'm actually hoping for them to win. It's not just because I'm a Canuck fan (I thought some of the games in the first round were tremendously exciting) and not just because I had three Wings in my pool. I just don't buy the "Canada's team" hype that always happens when there is one surviving Canadian based team left. There are a lot of great Canadian players on the Lightning that I wouldn't mind seeing win the Cup - St. Louis, Lecavalier, and Richards to name three. I doubt I will be watching any of the final series though, I tried watching some of the Flames/Sharks series and had to stop after about a period and a half - I think I counted three combined scoring chances between them. That said, it would be nice to have the Cup won by a city that would actually appreciate the importance of it, and Iginla is a great player who is fun to watch. Also, the Flame fans aren't nearly as annoying as Leaf fans.

So, go Flames or go Lightning... whatever.

 

Tough loss last night for our Flames. Lets hope they can bounce back.
