My wife went to Bowling Green and was in love with Rob Blake. If she had nabbed him, she'd be sitting pretty. Instead she ended up with me. She chose...poorly.

I thought he was with the chimps but he likes the giraffes and turtles the most. But above that he kept watching all the people and trees. He is a people baby, maybe a president in the making.

Is Peter Forseberg gone?

 

I haven't seen anything on him yet, but there are players flying all over the place. Lots of really good players on the market right now!

 

I know they can make more money elsewhere, but it would be nice to see some of these better players take less money to play with teams that still have a better chance at winning the cup.

 

i heard they were working with him to get naslund...i guess they want to play together being friends and all, and forsberg apparently doesn't want to leave colorado...

what the hell is adam foote doing?
now who's gonna do all the local subway and diamond store ads!

Forseburg had talked about leaving NHL in the first place and just going to his home country. But nothing on the Avs website.

 

Sounds like he wants to comeback but I'm not sure on the AVs....Pronger just got traded to the Oilers..

That's good that Chicago picked up Adrian Aucoin, hopefully the Pens can pick up some more talent here before it's all gone. Maybe a solid backup goaltender.

 

I don't think the Pens have too much of an issue in net...Fleury, Chicodo and Caron are pretty solid, but very young. There are some guys available too, Sean Burke, Byron Dafoe and there will be more. the rumor has it that Chelios, DOmi and Kovalev want to play in Pittsburgh because of Crosby.

I'm surprised at all of the moves Chicago has made, they signed a bunch of players just before the lockout and now are making more moves.

 

That would be sweet to get Chelios, and to have Kovalev back. I wonder if the days of guys like Domi, and Stu Grimson are over. Teams won't be able to afford to pay a guy who can't score and just goons it up, but then again you need at least one of those guys to protect your francise players.

 

It's weird....and Domi is pretty popular too so we will see. Mario is thinking that Crosby will extend his playing career another 3 years. That team may gave gone from final 4 appearance, to cellar, back to final 4 appearance within 3 seasons. Crazy. I'm looking forward to seeing Crosby and Fleury in a full season.

 

This is crazy. I didn't think that the salary cap was going to affect this many moves. I've never seen it this busy in the offseason.

 

I can't wait to see a full season for Fleury. He's going to be awesome!
