Tingley wanted to jack the rent big time. So Scorps said shove it, basically. It sucks to not have them around for this season, but it sounds like they're going to come back strong next year. Met the new head coach last night...totally aweseome guy. I like the direction they're headed in....

The Pens are going to have a kick butt year!! They need to go back to the old cup jerseys....maybe as an alternate or something, that would be sick..

Thibault has played in 536 NHL games, with a 2.69 goals-against average, 36 shutouts and a 227-217-68 record. Thibault has played in more than 60 games in four of his last five seasons, all with Chicago.

He's only 30 Years old!! He has been in the NHL since he was 18!! He almost has 300 wins already....and he hasn't been on the best clubs BTW, the Hawks haven't been that good...and they REALLY ate it after his injury last season.

TBO is the man dude!! That's why he's been my favorite goalie in the league since Barrasso. He's amazing!! I can't wait for the season to start.

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- High-scoring forward John LeClair, let go by the Philadelphia Flyers in the first wave of NHL salary dumping last month, signed Monday with Pittsburgh -- the Penguins' fifth major player addition in slightly more than two weeks.

LeClair adds another established scorer to a radically reshaped team that finished last in the overall 2003-04 standings but now has the look of a playoff team after acquiring defenseman Sergei Gonchar, forward Ziggy Palffy, goaltender Jocelyn Thibault and drafting top prospect Sidney Crosby. The team also signed another former Flyers star, Mark Recchi, before the labor dispute shut down the 2004-05 season.
