Star Trek, Medbay mayhem is continuing with the new prompt
Star Trek: Limitless Horizons uses this week's prompt.
I know I am a day early with this, but I am heading out in a moment, and I won't be back online until Saturday - and I would rather be early than late.
So, this next prompt is . . .
We meet again.
YES!!!!!!!!! Perfect and you know for what!
Well, I have been thinking about starting my own NSWFF thread, and this prompt is perfect for a Teen Titans piece.
Sent from my stupid little astro droid using TapaTalk 2.
My muse likes these. I have posted another MWC response here.
My response is up.
My Evergreen ficlets thread has this week's delightful prompt featured.
Star Trek, Medbay mayhem is up with the new prompt
Somehow, and combining the prompts 3 and 6, I could not help but think of this quote...
Darth Vader: "I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now *I* am the master."
That is all kinds of cool Laure.
Darth Vader is good for all sorts of subconscious influencing, it would seem. Excellent catch, Laure.
For this week, our prompt is . . .
Far from home.
Let your muses run wild, folks. And remember, if you were still writing responses to earlier prompts, those can still be posted at any time. There were a few mentioned here that I was looking forward to seeing, and still am.
Far from home -- hmmm. So many levels of meaning.
@Mira_Jade - looking forward to the Tolkien-esque spin.
ETA on April 19: My Evergreen ficlets uses this prompt, in a symbolic fashion.
As soon as I saw the theme, an idea came to mind. I wrote it immediately, but I didn't post until today.
Also, I didn't mention this at the time, but a few days after the last challenge was posted, I was reading a book that ended with the very words "we meet again." It was one of the Doctor Who Quick Reads; I went through three of them that weekend. I was finishing up another book this morning, and as I saw where the end was going, I thought it might happen again, but the phrase "far from home" didn't appear. The closest it got was "we weren't home."
@Admiral Drabblar - Oooh, that is a neat coincidence! It would have been awesome if it happened twice.
@Nyota's Heart, you are such a dear! I have ideas to play catch-up with these, so now it's time to sit down and finish writing them.
Scrumptious it was too.
So, I am tackling these prompts backwards. My Far From Home response is up in my Tolkien ficlet thread.
Now, to get cracking on the rest!
I didn't want to be completely obvious with this week's prompt, but hey, I guess I am going to be . . .
Take it away folks.
Oooh, sweetness! Such utter sweetness. ETA - yup, Mira, your NSW prompt ficlets - off-the-chain again
Today I posted a vig using the current prompt in:
A little piece with the new prompt in
Star Trek, Medbay mayhem
My response is finally posted.
For this week's prompt we have . . .
Let the writing commence.
