Wow you've seen some of my work? That's kind of cool. I know my art is ok but in the words of the great Qui Gon Jin "There's always a bigger fish!" :)
Thanks though I really appreciate your post it made my day.

Vader's helmet always looks great with red highlights. Something about it just personifies coolness.

I agree, Red on shiny Black is epic win!

Thank you but I have to give most of the credit to the guy who conceptualized it on the card first. I just kind of reinvented the wheel. :)

Stunning and WOW that's taking a lot of time. The same is with old fashioned material like oils and pencils

Thanks and yeah it is a long time. I lost inspiration on it early in though so that killed the interest for me a bit.

I know exactly how it is to lose inspiration, mate, but it returned to me this week. Sometimes it takes longer, but it will eventually come back to you.

Thank you very much. I took the opportunity with this image to play with a thought I had that maybe lightsabers might resort to a single tone of color when penetrating a sufficiently dense and resistant material. Had I developed the story further it would have involved a far more powerful type of saber created for the sole purpose of breaching any possible "solid" defenses that might be in place to protect the Emperor.

...Plus I always wanted to draw the force negating creature on his chair. :D

Wow, all your stuff is amazing! I especially love your ysalamir (though I'm partial to creatures). And I like that you include the breakdown of all the different pieces that go into each work. I would love to see more!
