I have two cahrity events lined up.
I think ANdrea is waiting to hear back about 1 and me teh other.

 

Are there any better screen sizes/venues for ROTS in the area other than Ontario?

 

I think Redlands

 

The Kirkorian is an ok place, it would work for what we want....but redlands is kinda far away from most everybody but me...isent it? or am i wrong?

 

I think it shouldnt matter. We need to rotate places to make it easy. Plus it's maybe only 30 minutes form here

 

I live in Redlands but wouldn't recommend Krikorian for ROTS at this point. They've kicked it down to one of their smallest screens (the film quality is majorly suffering too). Maybe its been out so long that all the theaters have done likewise, but thought I'd ask.

 

What about the drive in Riverside.............and you can bring your own food. Always a blast.

The Ontario Mill cinemas are good.

Hey the poster's pretty funny. I want one! You can get them tomorrow through Sunday by seeing ROTS and asking at the theater. Wish I had the whole weekend off, but I just have tomorrow. Maybe we can sneak a showing in after the meeting, if there's time.

 

I'd be up for ROTS after the meeting if others are.


The Temecula Edwards is really nice.... though you all would kill me if I planned an event for there.

Temecula isn't far from me. We should really think about alternating meetings in different areas of the IE. The IE is so big it could be two FF's.............LOL

 

That's a good point, Anita, something I thought about when I first signed up. I could see this splintering off into several satellites as our numbers grow, with occasional large gatherings.

Ontario is good, but if we go after the meeting to get those posters I'd imagine somewhere in or by Riverside would be the easiest for catching a late show. ::Looks around for Harris::

Mike and I are planning on joining Anita, Jimmy, and the gang for the BBQ on Sunday the 3rd. Hopefully some other folks haven't booked up the entire holiday weekend yet, and can join us! Yucaipa Regional park, which has tons to do (including waterslides), was the suggested venue, unless anyone has an alternate suggestion.

Does anyone have info on the park? As I recall there's a modest fee per car for getting in.

we should do a beach trip this summer....have a big bon fire and roast hotdogs....we did that with the OC about 2 years ago and we had a blast!

cool.....maybe middle of July would work, we would have to get there really early in the morning to get a fire pit but hey i could stand that!
