The middle of July in Comicon

 

Week after Comic Con would work. Or before, even.

 

After ComicCon would be awesome! What beach? Out toward San Clemente, or farther down?

 

Oceanside?

 

My husband and I are planning to host a prop/costume party the weekend before ComicCon and would like to open the invitation to our IE pals! If you want to tune up your outfit before the con, come hang out with a master class costumer whose industry work includes Star Trek: Voyager. We're thinking Saturday July 9th at 6pm at this point. We'll pop on some DVD's, chat with friends, and help with costumes and props. Pizza and snacks, potluck is also welcome.

Hey here's another idea:

My husband heard that they're displaying the Tumbler, which was the Batmobile in Batman Begins, this Saturday out in Burbank. I know some folks here are planning on going to the Disneyland thing, but for those of us who aren't doing that for one reason or another I thought it would be fun to post this as an alternate. We're thinking of going out there early evening when it gets a bit cooler and posing for photos in front of it!

Anyone up for a Batmobile photo op?

 

if jimmy isn't working saturday may go to see the tumbler. w00t...hehehe

 

The tumbler RULES and it'd be awesome to see it. Saturday is the last day, we hear, that it will be displayed anywhere. For now, at least.

ok well i think that Comic Con is after this but i might be wrong...lets do the Beach July 16th in Hunigton, cuz i know i can get us a fire pit there.....i will get there in the morning and than everyone can show up when they want. If comic con is that weelend than the weekend after that will work

Our clan will be busy working that week to make up all those hours missed to go to ComicCon, but we hope you guys have a blast!

andrea are you planning on giving us more info on teh candlelighters walk or what? you called them for me and last i heard was you got the packet. if you are not wanting to do it, let me know because I could do it. This walk is something close to out heart.

 

Yeah Anita, haven't you guys been doing that walk every year? How come you aren't organizing it?
