The referee is also questioning why he's watching the game.

    I'm questioning if he is

Is there anything as good at striking fear into hearts as a Jo and Hulk attack?

The more weak shots Brazil take at Cillessen, the happier I am.

3! Oh man. The most disappointing thing about this match is... Why couldn't Holland have played like this against Argentina :(

I think this Netherlands shirt is my favorite of the World Cup.

Netherlands subbing in their third keeper. I believe they've now played everyone in their squad.

I like that all goalkeepers have gotten a bit of playtime.

Looking forward four years, we can only hope Russia and Putin suffer this kind of humiliation when they host.

And eight years, to see if Qatar can do even better/worse than 10-1 over their final two games

I think it's going to be a travesty if it remains in Qatar.

I think I'm kinda late to this, but what on earth happened to Brazil? Seems like everyone had the highest expectations for them, and they certainly seemed to have the most enthusiastic fans...then they got slaughtered by Germany, and now they lost to the Netherlands.

No, not everyone had the highest expectations - the Brazilians themselves did. And since they were the host and had some easy early draws, they skated through. But all through the tournament all I heard in their matches was how weak they looked. Certainly the degree of their failure was epic and unprecedented, but it's not surprising that they lost once they played good teams.

(The one exception was vs. Colombia, where I genuinely think the ref may have made the difference in their favor).

They whipped what the world thought was a great team in Spain at the Confederations Cup final last year, thus the high expectations.

One year later, all is much clearer.

Well having not seen that but only having seen them actually in this cup, they always looked mediocre to me.

That's a fantastic point. That dominant win against 5pa1n looked great at the time.

People realize Brazil have won 3 straight Confed Cups, right? It's a glorified set of friendlies.

3-1 in favor of Germany; Messi of course will either assist the only Argentine goal, or score it himself.
