The OFFICIAL "A Walk to Remember" Thread

Of course we can't all wait in line for 4 months for "Attack of the Clones." But thankfully we have great films to hold us over until May 16th. One such film, is the highly anticipated "A Walk to Remember". This film stars the beautiful and multi-talented Mandy Moore, and proves to be yet another exciting teen love story! I just thought I'd provide a thread so people can leave their thoughts, feelings and reactions about this great new picture. Spoilers are allowed. Thanks, and lets have fun!

 

I'll start. I thought the picture was just phenomenal. Mandy Moore did such an awesome job of acting like the plain-ordinary girl, but then she hooks up with the school stud and hits it off and then she gets kissed in the front yard for the very first time plus she's like "I don't know if I'm good" and he's like "of course you'll be good" at kissing of course and then she gets popular at school and then, oh yeah and then she gets to sing, to SING in the movie which almost brought me to tears but actually I missed that part because I was going tinkle and getting a refill on my Dr Pepper. Anyways, what did you all think?

I won't see it (because I'm too lazy to go to the theater), but I want to.

 

if my friends drag me to see it, which they probably will, then i'll end up seeing it. maybe i can convince 'em to see an action....hmmmm

 

I don't exactly see how they could make a movie about this...the previews seemed kinda stupid to me...I don't really see the point

Bubbly, if you haven't seen FOTR yet and you want action, see if you can convince 'em to see FOTR...I got back like 30 min. ago, it was AWESOME.

This movie is out already ?? Dear God, I must go into hiding, my girlfriend is trying to drag to the theaters to see this. Someone help me, please, I beg of you !!

 

Blonde Mandy or brunette Mandy?

 

Well, let me throw in my two cents. I really liked the originality of the story line. I mean, a pretty girl whose not popular hooks up with the most popular guy in school, and then everyone loves her? I never saw that coming. Not even from a quarter of a mile away, which, if I may make a recommendation, is where to sit to get the best this picture has to offer.

And Mandy Moore sang in the movie? Incredible, once again, it was a total surprise. It was really quite genious of them to get a teen pop singer to play a teenage girl who gets to sing in this movie.

Anyways, I recommend this movie to anyone with an incurable disease, fighting in a war, broke, or with chronic halitosis. Go see this movie to see how people deal with REAL problems.

Mandy was on TRL today...my I felt the temperature in the room rise....fwew!

 

It's a teen movie that was derived from a book. Maybe it will have a plot.

Mandy Moore and Shane West are the stars. I think i'll just wait for it to come on the tele.

 

I felt sad when the football jock said, "Oh, she's just some nerd", when he knew, that tucked away inside, he really liked Mandy Moore. Shame on him.

 

Is it shameful of me to admit I honestly like Mandy Moores last album?
I've been playing it everyday since Xmas.

 

OMG, OMG!!! Today is like the bigest HUGE day! What did everybody think of the movie?? Did everybody go see it? I was impressed to say the least!! BTW, stay away from Kung Pao..it sucked

 

Oh d@mn, but it has not yet reached Australia. I shall have to miss out.

I loved the movie. I was sceptical about Mandy Moore starring, but it turned out to be a great film. I did think it was kind of out of place that she sang, but it was fitted in so well. She was very convincing in her part and Shane West was great. I couldnt stop crying!!
