  1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels (or any show vs any other show) bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

I haven't seen the episode for a while, but I think we can call defeating and capturing the bad guy saving the day. Not that she was the only hero, but if Cato wasn't captured, she wouldn't have squealed and given them the info in the end, so it was pretty crucial.

Lightsaber Lost was a good example of how to use Ahsoka properly. As a Padawan, she was a good combination of fallible, but determined, and ultimately capable. She didn't outshine the episode's Master, and instead was shown to be actually learning from him, with those lessons contributing to her success rather than simply succeeding on her the merits of her usual "spunkiness". I feel similarly about Padawan Lost and Wookiee Hunt. Even the Slaver trilogy of Season 4.

I don't entirely disagree, but I've already stated why I disagree to some extent. I'm ready to agree to disagree to avoid running in circles if you are.

I'd think if they went through with it, they wouldn't have shown that in the trailer.

Ahsoka does die in that episode, saving the Jedi Temple from Ventress, no less.

I was joking. However, with TCW anything is possible. Who knows, it could happen.

And is reconstructed as a cyborg, kills Grievous and becomes the famed jedi killer in his place.

The only problem with Ahsoka becoming the new General Grievous is that she can use the Force, so Obi-Wan couldn't kill her simply with a blaster in ROTS. Otherwise, very interesting idea.

Wouldn't she lose force sensitivity (or most of it) if she lost everything from the neck down?

If (Simus,) Darth Maul and Darth Vader are any indication, she'd have enough Force abilities left to still make her a much greater threat than someone with zero Force abilities like Grievous.

So maybe rather than kill Grievous, she'd lock him up, kidnap the chancellor (which would explain how several jedi were defeated [face_dunno]) then disappear after battle over coruscant and the real Grievous faces Kenobi?

...Now that I think about it, there's probably a fanfiction that about that. [face_sick]
