    Hey- does anyone know where I can find scans and pictures of Alpha the ARC Trooper? I'm working on a little project and need as many as I can, but am having problems locating images. Does anyone know of any webpages or anything that has images of alpha?

    Thanks! You know the image of Alpha crossing his arms in Battle of Jabiim? Can you make that into an icon?

    Here are the shots from Republic 50. Click on the thumbnails for the full size. And I mean full size, some are pretty big...
    I'll try to get 51 up tomorrow.
    If anyone else wants to send in the shots from the other comics so I can put them up on the site, just PM me.

    Got both 50 and 51 ARC/Alpha scans up.

    Plus a little creation of my own-

    [image=http://www.ofadam.com/ffa/alpha/alphaoneshot.gif]

    It's a bit big, so you may have to wait for it to fully load.

    I have too much time on my hands 8-}

    Um... he was 'Awakened' after the events in the cartoon series.

    Umm wasn't he part of the very first ARCs to be awakened?

    According to the short story collection timeline, Clone Wars volume II(which is where alpha first shows up, at least by name, right?), takes place before the Clone Wars cartoons chronologically. If that timeline is to be believed, Alpha should already exist when the cartoon takes place.

    Are you sure? Because Alpha is in the 1st Collection, and I think that that's AFTER the series...

    Actually, Alpha appears in Volume I. But that would logically take place before Volume II, so I guess it doesn't matter. Close enough for me, Val. ;)

    No the first collection is set one month before collection 2 which is set one month before the cartoon series.

    2 months after AOTC: Defense of Kamino

    3 months after AOTC: Defense of Naboo

    4 months after AOTC: The Battle of Muunilinst(cartoon series)

    However, is Alpha named in collection 1?

    Hm... okay... I don't think that he's named, but he's got the same weapon as in the other ones, and he's the one who mets up with Obi-Wan first, so logically...

    To put that in perspective, I'll add that I just checked Volume I, and the timeline in back says it takes place two months after Geonosis. If what Val says is true, that puts the cartoons four months after Geonosis, giving Alpha two months lee-way to be in the cartoon. ;)

    EDIT: Yes, Val. He is named in Volume I. :)

    EDIT 2: Forget that last bit. JT is right. But only one of the ARCs in "Jango's Legacy" survives, so one can assume... ;)

    Picky picky...

    And we know that there are more ARC troopers 'cause they appear in Cestus Deception

    Apparently he wasn't named in volume I since Rogue, apparently retracted his statement.

    Anywho, I'd have to say I agree with you it would be nice if the last of that one group we saw fighting on Kamino, was Alpha. Hopefully a source will confirm it later on.

    However who's to say that every ARC defending Kamino but one was gunned down? Maybe we were only being shown a small group that was defending only one part of Kamino, and that there were others in other parts of the city?
