At this point I plan to go. Knew it was going to be in LA for a few months now, so got a head start of figuring out a budget. I plan to work as a volunteer again as well, representing the Legion. Fabulous way to meet people. I even got to hold the beloved "This line temporarily capped" sign for the Rick McCallum talk!
I've known for a while that it was going to be in LA. I am definitely going and am in the process of making hotel arrangements! I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of fellow Canadians there as well as people from all over the world!
i can safely say that me, duker, chymaera, TVB1138 and my two monsters are a go!! Hopefully Max can stay behind this trip???
As for now, I'm still hoping to go. I'm going from Toronto, and most likely on my own if I can't find anyone else to go with.
So is there a Canadian FF going to this? Or is it all individual FF's? To say I've been living my life waiting to attend something like this is a short statement. But then again I'm not eight years old anymore. With all the chatter on the forums about CIV, I can't help but get more pumped for it!! I'm not part of an FF yet, but have the costumes to that's for sure. Or at least in mine eye's..hehe. Should I start booking everything now? Or wait for the official announcement?
i think most are going with individual fanforces, kinda hard to organize that large of a group and we're not all really in contact with each other might want to look at booking a hotel room but not much else you can do till they put tickets on sale.
yeahhhh good point there on size. I was just hoping to hop on board with a bunch of people as it's just me a buddy heading down so far. From the pictures of the previous two Celebrations...groups are goooood!
does anyone actually know the price of the admission? I'm half and half on going. It just depends on who i go with and how much it'll cost all together.
Best place for information is here the price for passes hasn't been announced i don't think last time it was i think $95, i think, not 100% sure can't quite recall but i would htink it would be a little bit more because theres an extra day.
It's official. The wait is over!!! Tickets go on sale Monday Oct. 30th!!! http://www.starwars.com/community/event/celebration/news20061025.html
FINALLY!! YES YES YES!! But I still have to wait till Monday...hmmmmm. Thank The Force for Halloween weekend.
Hey everyone! Can't wait to meet more Canadian fans down at Celebration 4!! There are approximately 15 of us going from Calgary. We're mostly bunking at the Sheraton (the second closest Hotel to the convention centre - couldn't get into the Holiday Inn across the street ). We're REALLY PUMPED about going Don't know how I'm going to sleep for the next 7 months..it's ALL I can think about
Calgary is all over this one as it is going to be amazing just like C3 the countdown is on hope everyone has a room gonna be the greatest 5 days of your life . Look forward to meeting some fellow Canadians down there from other great places in the best country in the world. ONLY 199 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....Does anyone else agree we need our own Celebration in Ontario?Y'know for the poor highschool kids who can't afford nor take the time to go all the way to LA? I so badly crave convention satisfaction.
sure it's lost a bit of it's fun over the past few years, but there's Polaris which is a good con. And more "dealers" axed there's Fan Expo. Think about it.
Hi guys, I was looking at things, and I was wondering if you'd like to have a get together on the monday evening. I think it would be a great idea for us canucks. post your thoughts here.
