When is it being shown on the west coast?

 

I downloaded the trailer from the link, but when I open the movie, it just redirects me here. ?

 

I assume theres a 4 hour delay. Youve got 3 hours left if its 8:55PST.

 

Upon watching the trailer for the 3rd time I just noticed a web address under the May 16th splash screen at the end.

It appears to be a fictional news site set in the SW universe obviously to coincide with the events to occur in AotC.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Anakin might be even cooler in this film then Vader was in the original?

I thought that two lightsaber thing looked even better then Maul's double blade.

There's really no better word to use to describe this then 'WOW'.

It's almost 3am here in the UK, my housemates will wake up in the morning and find that I'm here after just watching the trailer while they were all asleep.

That trailer was nothing like I expected, it doesn't look like a 'typical' SW movie, the look of the battles was so different to everything that's gone before. I probably thought the same thing when I first saw TPM trailer too, but this is--- SO different! The scale, everything!
Anakin using 2 saber's, Musashi style! Battle Droid's, Droideka's, Clonetrooper's, Walker's, alien's, other stuff I don't even know what the hell I was looking at.
Now THAT'S a war!

 

Lol Patches,I agree. I was pleasently supprised by what I saw of Anakin.

 

We have seen about 8 minutes of AOTC now...

I think those who worried about Christopher Lee being a poor replacement for maul have little to fear those 2 seconds were great.

The Jedi look completely swamped in the arena.

What is with Dooku? "Join me Obi Wan and we'll destroy the sith!"

The magic is back.

 

What would you do if it was like this:

Dooku: "No, I am your father. You must join me Obi-Wan and together we will destroy the Sith."

Obi-Wan: "No. That's not true. That's impossible."

 

I liked the content. Didn't think it was as well-edited as Mystery, but... well, anyway.
My thoughts, in order of trailer shot:

(1) Didn't like Pit of Carkoon music choice, was a bit cheesy.
(2) Whatever those arena guys are, they're creepy. (Look a bit like Watto to me.)
(3) Yay! Palpy has a line! (Which echoes "looks like negotiations failed" from TPM.)
(4) Loved the chase shots, really drew me in.
(5) Anakin's freefall reminds me of Leeloo's from The Fifth Element.
(6) Who's between OB1 and Ani in that JC shot?
(7) Palpy's words to Anakin were a cheap attempt to get the fans to smile... and they worked.
(8) Is that Queen Jamillia to the right of the screen on Anakin's "Excuse me" line? If so, why do all Naboo Queens wear weird makeup?
(9) A Trade Federation ship... yay?
(10) They say Jango's name onscreen. Good.
(11) Obi and Jango talk real friendly-like considering they're about to fight.
(12) I like that Obi says "Blast".
(13) The "emergency powers" line... creeeepy.
(14) Palpy's "grand army" line mirror "Wesa got a grand army!" from TPM.
(15) WHOA WHOA WHOA! The clones are REPUBLIC forces?!
(16) Dooku's words to Obi-Wan remind me a bit too greatly of Vader's temptation of Luke. I half expect him to announce he's his father.
(17) Ha ha, Ani Force-pushing the flying things...
(18) Oh, the battle seems interesting, I guess... WOW!
(19) So far no NSync... and not much Jar Jar either.
(20) Go to the Web site mentioned at the end for some laughs.

 

My reaction was definitely different than a few of yours. I'm not sure it's possible to get all of it in, even if you watch it frame by frame. There's just too much in one picture, especially in the battles.

Also, the battles are hard to discern from one another. It looks like the droids are the bad guys, because they're fighting Jedi, but the clones look like they're fighting Jedi also.

I thought Obi-Wan's dialogue was awesome! I knew what the lines were going to be from reading the trailer description on Friday but Ewan delivered them very well I thought.

The hologram....when he sees something behind him and ignites!!!! WOW!!!

 

If the clones are for the republic why would ObiWan be investigating and why would Jango attack? They must be for the separtists, unless the Jedi do not trust Palpy...

I shouldnt have seen that, but by hearing that, it gave me some ideas on what he means..

EDIT: What I posted is too thought provoking and could be some spoiler even though I havent seen any trailers or any info on EP2

 

I thought it was excellent. This is the first time I've been interested in a Star Wars movie since May 19, 1999. This whole time I was under the impression that the clones were going to fight the Republic, but I suppose not. Great trailer, though, except for some slightly corny parts (Obi-Wans' fear of flying kind of annoyed me).

 

I just finished my eighth viewing of the trailer. I'm now obsessed


Anyway, in the scene where Anakin and Obi-Wan are bowing before the four head council advisors in the Jedi Council room (Mace, Yoda, Plo, and Ki-Adi), just before that shot we see a scene in the chamber and right behind Anakin and Obi-Wan there's a new blue jedi on the council!

I'm 98% positive that shot was from the council room. Very cool

...amazing...yoda sounded a but strange though...

...and a few of the cgi backgrounds need to be tweaked a bit...

...amazing...now all we have to do is wait 9 weeks and change...so sad...

 

Very, very cool trailer. Having the large version is sweet to be able to go frame by frame and analyze the scenes that go by so fast. The two biggest star wars firsts, purple lightsabers, and not just for mace, and all the republic forces were shooting blue lasers. Also in one of the last jedi shots you can see a jedi get shot and go down and another already dead. As for that last shot, where are all the other jedi? did they all die already? or is this before reinforcements? my guess is the latter since considering how many droids are in their shot it looks like they need a little help.

It was the best trailer but:


1. Showed too much

2. Music didn't fit.



I am a spoiler junkie anyway so #1 doesn't really pertain to me. #2 can be excused because it is just a trailer.
