Thank you WookAtMe, this is quite a treat.

Never knew beer could have this much flavor. Almost feel bad drinking it alone.

I wish I could remember all the beers I've tried.

Sierra Nevada Pale is probably a staple in the good-but-relatively-easy-to-find category, so my partner and I drink a fair amount of that.

I'm trying to remember what else I drink... I'm having an enormous mental blank right now.

    Good thread though.

American Craft Beer week is next week! Anybody going to any events or planning on trying something new? And while I'm at it, are any of you fellow enthusiasts on Untappd?

A little late on this, but...Bison Honey Basil! I've only had it once and I haven't seen it again since, but I really loved it! Ahhhhh I want more.

Yeah, it's pretty good. My wife is crazy for it. My trusty beer store carries it. Bison makes good stuff. I want to try their gingerbread.

I really wanted to try that one but was never able to track it down. I did grab myself a bottle of Founder's Cerise today (I've been wanting to try it for months) and I'm really pleased with it. Great cherry flavor and very refreshing.

I might have to track that down and try it.

If you can't find that one, try 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon. I was suuuper skeptical because I'm not really fond of Watermelon-flavored stuff but ohmygod it's delicious.

That's me exactly! Love watermelon, but every watermelon flavored thing tastes like crap to me. Had tried this at the brewery pub and was thrilled to find it bottled.

Today's fare was a Simon Bagley Stout at Stonefly Brewery with brunch. Was there looking for their Star Destroyer Stout, but found out it's seasonal. So I'll be back. Thanks for the recommendation Mortimer Snerd

Hell or High Watermelon is alright. Kind of overrated to me, but that's prolly cuz 21st Amendment brought it to like 5 Oregon Brewers' Festivals in a row and there was always this huge ass line for it.

I recently had a peak organic espresso amber ale, which was unique to me as a coffee brew that wasn't a porter or stout. 'twas excellent, so i had two.

followed it up with a 3 year old barrel aged smuttynose really old brown dog brown ale, which was as good a beer as I've ever had.

One of the beers sent me by WookatMe.... [IMG]

Pouring into the snifter and inhaling the aroma made my mouth water. Another really exceptional stout.

Anyone else (of age) interested in sharing craft beers from their area of the country or world, pm me.

Do you guys drink your beers ice cold/room temp, or somewhere inbetween? My rule of thumb is the blonder the ale, the colder I serve it, although I hardly refrigerate beer at all anymore.

I can deal with a stout being not so cold, but I like a nice cold beer. Once it starts to warm up...meh.

Agree with the lady above. I refrigerate all my beers, stouts are the only ones I don't mind not staying cold.
