hey, im a minor darth maul fan, and i thought id let u guys know about this really cool fanfic.

The Rogue and the Hunter AU. Darth Maul/OC, Lord Sidious, more OC's. Action, romance. Post-TPM.

its a really good story, but the author is getting discouraged bc only 2 ppl hav commented on it. hope some of u will check it out!

Try not to be discouraged. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for a writer to get readers, particularly if they are new.

This is not a flame, but is merely a mild critique-
I have read some of the story, and your writing style is good. It is easy to read without some of those spelling error or bad sentence structures that bog down a story. But this is the critique: Maul falling in love is just a tad out of character for him. But it might be why you might not be getting as many readers that you would like. Again, I am not saying that your style is bad, or that you are a bad writer. It is just that your portrayal of Maul is a bit out of character.

 

I want to join. I am a Darth Maul fanatic, he symbolises the opitomy of all evil and destruction, Maul is the coolest most Sadistic sith in the history of Star Wars. I'm not a particularly big Star Wars fan but Darth Maul makes it worth watching for me and makes the first episode incredible. Long Live Darth Maul. Since I am in a Metal band, and I am the lead vocalist and lyricist I have decided to write a song in his honour.

TPM is my favorite out of all 6 movies because of him, he's what a pure Sith looks like besides Palps.

 

Well, today marks the 10th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, the film that introduced one of the coolest villains: Darth Maul! Happy B-Day Maul!

 

Maul is DEFINATELY in my Top 10 favorite SW characters.

So I'm DEFINATELY in!

Anyone else a huge Darth Maul fan? Maul is the best Sith ever! Obi-Wan defeated him by chance.

 

Even though I don't really like the Sith, I respect Maul because of his epic fighting skills.

 

For those of you who respect Qui-Gon, do you think that Maul being able to kill Qui-Gon made Maul that much more awesome?

 

Darth Maul is way cool. I got Ray Park's autograph at Celebration IV!

 

I don't know if Maul's ability to kill Qui-Gon made him more awesome, but his inability to defeat Obi-Wan made him less awesome.

I think Darth Maul had so much untapped potential. I am working on a fanfic that I hope will tap some of this potential.

 

Maul is pretty awsome. He totally would have kicked caedus's butt.

 

Anyone could kick Caedus' butt. Maul would just be better at it.

 

I'm in, you can tell I am by the Hurt/Heal game, I gave him that lead. Help me finish off Vader.

 

I would love to see that. I really would.

And I bet Maul would show him in so many painful ways that he isn't worthy to be a Sith, because Caedus never was.
Plus, Maul would be mad that Caedus even claimed the title, because he never got it legitimately through the lineage, nor did he kill his Master to earn it. He'd be 'stealing' it, and as he wasn't any good in the first place, he'd also be giving the Sith a 'bad' name.

P.S- I was amazed that this thread was resurrected! I thought it was truely dead, and the final insult being that even Glass-Jar Binks had higher page numbers. So, I am happy that it's back.

 

Darth Caedus wasn't a good Sith because the authors made him that way. Jacen Solo was almost on par with Luke in terms of Force abilities and his lightsabre skills were considerable. Ask Kyle Katarn. If it was done properly Darth Caedus would have been an awesome Sith Lord. The authors robbed us of an amazing villian.

 

Maul could just freakin' headbutt Caedus, then it would be over.
