As long as I watch this thread you are not alone at all.

I just discovered recently that in the scene about subdueing the Hutts the dagger of bounty-hunter Sugi was not stopped by Maul's force-wielding but by Savage standing right behind his brother using his bare cybernetic steel-hand to save Maul with that telekinetic force-push-back. And Maul trusted Savage enough to let him do without interfering. That is just an awesome mutual trust between the brothers.

 

Not to imagine if Sidious would have Plagueis also letting enter this holo-scene.

is that a fan-production? They look so real. But who can concentrate on fighting while seeing all that flesh? And Maul looks so young, it must be his clone mentioned in a far far EU. For me it feels strange to see a clone-Maul running around.

There can only be one.

Or did Maul probably the same like Palpatine did with clone-bodies in Dark Empire?

Sweet video E. L.Knight. A little lacking on the choreography side, but the steam from Talon's tongue sizzling on the lightsaber blade was a neat touch. Totally something she'd do, as well.

Sudooku The only possible clone of Maul in the EU was a doppelganger created by the Prophets of the Dark Side, so not the same as Palpatine, who transferred his essence to his clones. If it was not given form by sorcery that bestowed upon it Maul's memories, then it probably inherited some of Maul's memories and personality through flash memory. More akin to Galen Marek's clones in TFU II than Palpatine or Set Harth.

Set Harth? AFAIK, in Dynasty of Evil he tried to solve the mystery of cheating death concealed in Darth Andeddu's holocron in vain. Or is there another Episode I still miss?

given the assumed fact that Maul is still alive, then there will be a lot of Maul's memories floating still around via the force But given the fact that Darth Talon was born much later than Darth Maul, the Maul to be seen here is either a clone, a until now hidden offspring.

Or it is true what I saw in a youtube-leakage that Maul will serve again Sidious as a kind of Right Hand during some years of the Empire and maybe Palpatine wanted Maul to test his clone-facilities on Byss first before the Emperor would dare to rejuvenate himself. A re-constructed whole-bodied re-juvenated Maul fully aware of his glorious past - what bright new opportunities would he give us!

Set Harth actually succeeded in obtaining the knowledge of spirit transferrence, and lived for at least a thousand years thereafter, body hopping between clones.

That's what I always speculated! That the midichlorians in cloned Force sensitives share the coding with that of the original, so the Force sort of recognises them as the original and any memories floating around in the Force even after the death of the original adheres to them. Hence the Marek clones, or the Maul doppelganger given form by the Dark Force. And of course it'd explain the madness of Joruus C'baoth, and why cloning Force sensitives is generally a bad idea.
