Who do you think was holding the camera? I think Sidious would have wanted that moment caught on film. :p

There's one image that features the Legacy-era GA symbol, and there are more than a few that contextually only make sense outside the GCW era. I think we have to take it as a given that the images are from multiple eras even if they're predominantly GCW-era. There's no need to wait for a Chee declaration or to call it a retcon.

Discovered another shout out to an old rock song: "A Muun of wealth and taste." Well played, Mr. Luceno.=D=

Ah, yes, must get through to the younglings....

But still, nothing beats the original.

When reading this book I am assuming that everyone one "heard" the voice the actor who played the character. That is we "heard" Ian McDiarmid's voice for Palpatine, Liam Neeson for Qui-Gon etc.. What voice did you "hear" for Darth Plagueis? For me I kept on hearing Leonard Nimoy.

I couldn't pin down a specific voice, but for Plagueis I did hear a very deep voice, slow and deliberate, very atypical of all the Muuns we've seen portrayed.

Daniel Davis. His Palpatine was off (his Sidious absurdly so, because -- -- he played them the same!), but his Plagueis was great. Indeed baritone, slow, and deliberate. Also, with a hint of lunacy. Davis really did a great job on him. For me, he is Plagueis's voice now, and especially Tenebrous's voice. His Tenebrous sounded so cheesy, just like his name; he always sounded like he was twirling his mustache while holding his cape dramatically in front of him. Perfect.

I am, of course, referring to the audiobook.

Really deep, and after the assassination attempt, mechanical...kinda like Plo Koon in TCW only more evil.

    Nimoy is a good one.
I think hearing an English guy sounds great, perhaps Michael Gambon or Peter O'Toole.

Yeah, for some reason I couldn't think of him any other way than with an English accent.

I'm gonna have to try that. I've never listened to a Star Wars audiobook, but I'm curious on a Plagueis voice.

The other thing is at the end of the book when Sidious is using force lighting on Plagueis I couldn't help but think of "The Incredibles" and the scene where Frozone and Mr. Incredible are talking about how bad guys always monologue before they kill. They always have this prepared speech about how feeble you are compared to him. How inevitable your defeat is, how the world will soon be his! Yada, yada, yada. It is kind of interesting in this is how Vader kills the Emperor while he is zapping Luke with force lighting.

I can't imagine Sidious killing Plaugeis without wanting to rub a few things in his face, especially if his assertion that he was leading him for decades is true. He's not gonna let that one go quietly :)

The audiobook sample defined the voice for me. THAT guy is Plagueis... he captured the Muun's haughtiness, perfectly.
