Alrighty, there was a cat-like species in one of the "Adventures of Han Solo" Books. What were they? And what book(s) are they in?

    Trianii

The Trianii race has evolved from feline ancestors and is another one of the several sapient feline alien species to be found in the universe. Others include but are not limited to Togorians, Cathar, Catuman, Horansi and Pardu. Unlike these other feline aliens, they are unique in having prehensile tails, and they are particularly agile, and naturally athletic and acrobatic. Their bodies are covered in sleek fur, in a wide range of colors in patterns and colorations. They have 3 fingered hands and feet that have retractable claws, and they are excellent hunters. The females of the species are generally stronger, faster and more dexterous than the males. There society is matriarchal in structure; tribunals of females called Yu'nar are responsible for running their society.

Much of their female dominated society is organized around their religious ways: Dance, Art, music, literature, marshal arts and even industry and commerce, revolve around their religious beliefs. In the past they had numerous competing religions, ranging from fertility cults to large hierarchical orthodoxies. These diverse religions peaceably agreed upon a moral code of conduct and beliefs, building a religious coalition that has lasted for over a thousand years. Most if not all Trianii are active in their family¡¦s traditional faith and customs. Religious figures are held in great regard, Tunnac the current prefect of the united church, has visited several non-Trianii worlds to spread their message of peace, harmony and philosophy.

The Trianii are fiercely independent and self-reliant. Never content with what they have, they are driven to explore and expand. They have established colonies in no less then six separate systems, including Pypin and Fibuli. Trianii colonies are completely independent civilizations, founded by people who seek a more self-reliant way of life.

Subsequently the Trianii have inadvertently become a major thorn in the side of the Corporate Sector Authority (CSA). The Trianii have always controlled their region of space with peace. Then the CSA decided to expand into Trianii held space. By most reckoning, with tens of thousands of systems to be exploited by the CSA, they need never have come into conflict with the Trianii. But such thinking ignores logic, and greed is the principle upon which the CSA was founded on.

The CSA has always appreciated the finer wisdom of letting others do the hard work for them and then swooping down to pilfer the profits. With the Trianii worlds already explored, studied and colonized, there was the opportunity to use the populous as a slave work force and exploit the Trianii worlds for the benefit of the CSA.

The CSA tried in vain to forcibly make the Trianii colonists into a slave work force, but the colonists fought back tenaciously and with spirit. But to no avail the colonists were no mach for the forces of the CSA. Not all hope was lost because the Trianii Yu'nar Council sent in the legendary Trianii Rangers, the feared independent space force of the Trianii people, to intercede on behalf of the Trianii colonists. The Trianii Rangers were able to drive back the CSA¡¦s foot hold on their worlds. The Rangers efforts have sent a clear message to the CSA that a full out War with the Trianii people would not be very cost affective and beneficial for them. Subsequently the CSA stopped infringing on Trianii held worlds. But it has not stopped the CSA from a harassment campaign with the Trianii.

Trianii Held worlds: In addition to the Trianii home world of Trian, They have explored and colonized five other systems, the five most noteworthy being:

Bretta Located near the disputed border of the CSA, this planet is a mixture of civilized urban centers surrounded by pre-industrial wilds.

Brochiib One of the Trianii colony worlds near the disputed border of the CSA

Ekibo One of the Trianii colony worlds near the disputed border of the CSA.

Fibuli, Containing the city of Knanan, is one of the Trianii colony worlds that was annexed by the adjacent Corporate S

Right now I am running a primarily Gamorrean based game, and we're having a little trouble with the stats. The stats listed here, and on the master table, are conflicting with those that have been published in the core rulebooks and the Ultimate Alien Anthology. Those sources list the special class features as +2 Str, -2 Dex and I believe -2 Int... along with the bonus feat Power Attack, and no intimidate +2 or +1 melee. Have their been any further clarifications on this that I might have missed? My opinion is that the Ultimate Alien Anthology is probably right, seeing as that was the entire reason to publish it, and I believe it came out after the master table (seeing as there are certain species not on the table that are listed in the book). Anyone?

IIRC, the master table was made for the OCR ruleset. If you're using the Revised Core Rulebook, stick with the UAA ones.

No, the Master Table was made for the RCRB, however the UAA happened to change some of the entries after the fact (e.g. Chiss getting +2 INT and not Tactics).

well here's one for ya :p

Remember the Jedi loving Coynites from the D6 game, which had their species specific armour and weapons, one of which had a nifty lil hook for disarming?

Well my new copy of UAA arrived today, and I was surprised to see them omitted, i thought the whole ent'ra'sol thing was quite cool, I had an idea for an af'harl coynite :(

ok, can someone give me hints for converting D6 species stats to D20?

    Attribute Dice: 13D
    DEXTERITY 2D/5D
    KNOWLEDGE 1D/3D+2
    MECHANICAL 1D/4D
    PERCEPTION 1D/4D+2
    STRENGTH 2D/5D+1
    TECHNICAL 1D/3D
    Special Skills:

Beast Riding: tris. All Coynites raised in traditional Coynite society have this beast riding specialization. Beginning Coynite player characters must allocate a minimum of 1D to this skill.
    Special Abilites:

Sneak: Coynites get a +1D when using sneak.

Claws: Coynites have sharp claws that do STR+1D+2 damage and add +1D to their brawling skill.

Intimidation: Coynites gain a +1D when using intimidation due to their fearsome presence.
    Story Factors:

Honor: To a Coynite, honor is life. The strict code of the Coynite law, the En'Tra'Sol, must always be followed. Any Coynite who fails to follow this law will be branded af'harl ("cowardly deceiver") and loses all rights in Coynite society. Other Coynites will feel obligated to maintain the honor of their species and will hunt down this Coynite. Because an af'harl has no standing, he or she may be murdered, enslaved or otherwise mistreated in any way that other Coynites see fit.

Ferocity: The Coynites have a deserved reputation for ferocity (hence the bonus to intimidation).

    Move: 11/15

    Size: 2.0-3.0 meters tall
