    Mandalorians are human, as far as I know (unless they were an original species first like the Sith).

    For a Mandolorian human I'd keep the human stats (no modifiers, free feat and 1 extra SP), but give them Read/Write and Speak Mandalorian.

    until WotC release some stats then we won't have them... there are species that were in the d6 game that haven't been featured in any of the alien anthologies and it's not so bad converting them, but with little info to go by, its hard to do it

    point seen, but what about when you get advanced martial arts or any martial art style feats?

    would the extra dice be d6 also?

    <yoda>

    hmmm, take this to the coastal wizards' council of jedi you should

    </yoda>

    no idea... i'm inclined to say yeah, d6, because with standard unarmed attacks, the martial arts skill increases it from 1d3 to 1d4, and from then on it could be argued that it's improvement is based on what it currently is, if u see what i mean (with improved martial arts, 1d4 becomes 2d4, or 1d6 becomes 2d6), but then it's not a 'big' weapon or being used by someone 'big'.

    As the stats already state that there's no attack of opportunities risked by using it, i'd play it that the martial arts feat doesnt affect the tail strikes. I may even go on to say that no further martial arts feats would affect the damage. But ask the council, unless someone else can answer it

    i meant kicks by the way, not tail strikes :p

    as for mandos, any source ive looked at for info on them has said that the original race has died out, and mandos of more recent times are just the same as sith of recent times, a culture rather than species.

    Sev-07 I've found the answer to your Question, thanks to Jedi Counseling 37

    Q: I'm planning on creating a Cathar soldier for my next character: a kind of martial artist. Now, Cathars have natural weapons -- claws that deal 1d6 points of damage. So when my Cathar soldier takes the Martial Arts feat, does he deal 1d4 points of damage, 1d6 points of damage, or 1d4 + 1d6 points of damage?

    A: When using Martial Arts, you have a choice of dealing either your regular unarmed attack damage, or your martial arts damage. But you don't get to combine them. That would seem to be a disadvantage to species with natural weapons, but it's the price you pay for being able to deal more damage at 1st level than the average character.

    Shatterpoint, the CW novel set about a year after the Geonosis battle IIRC, written by Matt Stover, and one of the awesomest books ever.

    Mace returns to his homeworld, to find his old apprentice, Depa Billaba. The planets name is Harun Kal (sp?), and all the natives are force sensitive.
