If I was a member of the Alliance, I'd put serious thought into executing some improbable evil scheme to destroy the Jedi, just because the fallout from that couldn't possibly be worse than what's happened already.

The Jedi are the good guys. The Galactic Alliance is an obstacle, and any inconvenience done it by the Jedi is justified because they are working toward a greater good than the Galactic Alliance.

Luke built that ivory tower much higher than it ever was before.

Havac, I sincerely hope you'll be moving on to Crucible. [face_devil]

Then again, that would require you to buy it in hardcover (or the hardcover-priced digital), which is not exactly the ideal message to send...

I previously indicated that I liked this series overall, despite the problems I had with it.

Then I read the Thrawn trilogy.

I would like to recant my previous stance. FotJ is pretty awful.

Episode I & II are definitely childfriendly and created new fans for Star Wars, the same goes for the Cartoons

TCW seems to have moved away a bit from child-friendly- with brain-eating worms, and zombies.

I think it count as child-friendly horror, like Are You Afraid Of The Dark?

What about the terrorism, slavery, and guerrilla warfare? Does that count as child friendly?

I think in general that "child friendly" is the wrong term to use for Star Wars. Kids can be pretty robust about this stuff and calls to make something more child friendly usually come down to make it more parent-friendly.

So it's approachable and all ages, but not necessarily something the PTC would care for if they were actually paying attention.

I would like to point out that the OT was referred to as a kids movie too.

I read Apocalypse about a year ago, and about the only thing I can remember from it is the meat geyser of vaporized Sith that occurred when Jaina kicked the thermal detonator down that hatch they were all climbing up.

A group of uptight, idiotic, out of touch old conservatives who take it upon themselves to determine what is and isnt appropriate for television, despite having little to no accredItation. IMO they fall in the same category as Glenn Beck and his followers.
