First things First THE EMPIRE OF THE HAND LIVES!!!!

I am getting all my info from LominAle Cantina, so any issues blame them.

 

It's hilarious, every plot summary in this series has either said "Luke and Ben pursue Abeloth, WILL THEY SURVIVE?!" or "Luke and Ben are chased by TONS OF SITH! WILL THEY SURVIVE?!"

We already know nothing special happens in this book with the Apocalypse blurb out. I wish they would stop doing that.

 

I think you misunderstood the spoiler and don't want people to be misled. It's a character used previously in the series.

 

Wonder who's in charge then? LaRone, Su-mil, Parck, Niriz, one of the Fels, Formbi...

 

I find it hard to keep track of people with weird names, so was he one of the leaders introduced in the last book

Apparently, from the site-that-shall-not-be-named, (MAJOR SPOILERS) LEIA is arrested for Drug Smuggling, the new Chief of State from Klatooine gives her Eramuth Bwuatu as a lawyer. Han is mad that Luke leads the Jedi away from Coruscant without rescuing Leia, now it's just Han and Allana. The Sith move into the Jedi Temple, only to be killed by the Barabels. One of the new Senators has been a Sith all along. Another new celebrity Senator becomes a Sith target. Han kidnaps someone, who's killed by Sith minutes after Han leaves her. There's some grand conspiracy involving Wynn Dorvan and Nek Bwuatu. There's also Sith in the media. Jag and Tahiri team up to get Daala. Daala visits Lecersen. New Moff shoots Jag, apparently a conspiracy by Daala who's back with the Moffs and the Maw Irregular Fleet. The Empire of the Hand rescues Jag from Daala. Daala blows up a moon. A lot of Jag/Tahiri, she has become his loyal Force-wielding guard, to protect him and help him restore authority over the Empire, she wants to serve the Empire as repentance instead of die and have no good come of it. Luke has an epiphany on Jacen and his fall, and talks to Saba to make her feel better. The Jedi secede from the GA, to trap the Sith. Apparently the Sith have more than one world. Jaina stays with Luke, Jag goes to stop Daala from becoming Empress. Vestara wants to become a Jedi, Luke and Jaina welcome her. Vestara kills her father, and Jaina comforts her, saying she had to kill her own brother (Jacen).

 

I'm taking this with a grain of salt and vinegar.

 

Same. If all that did indeed happen in the book, WTK is Denning gonna do?

 

Kill all the Lost Sith except Miss Redeemed Love Interest? Destroy Kesh and kill all the Keshiri too? Kill Daala? Make Captain Cardboard an Emperor? Marry Captain Cardboard and Miss Fratricide?

 

Yeah, but see, that would take only 100 pages to do. It is Denning after all. He has to have something else to make up 199 more pages

 

So Jag and Tahiri are getting all chummy now... great...

So help me if Jag marries Tahiri instead of Jaina...

Still, I like that the Empire of the Hand is still around. And Tahiri being a proto-Imperial Knight doesn't bother me, unless Jag and her end up founding the Fel line. That will... displease me... greatly.

Won't confirm or deny any, all or part of the spoilered material because not only is it against some of the implicit and explicit conditions of getting certain early copies, but I remember when spoilers were about actually whetting the appetite for the book and not about Internet noteriety for posting the majority of the contained content.

But I will say this: context is important. Both how the events that are being regurgitated actually play out in story lines and the sources that the information comes from.

 

Way to spoil the fun Darth Ghost. I could have keep this going for a week. If the Jain/Ves thing is true I think it undermines her character a bit. I think she should just hate Sith after what happened with JINO

The Ves stuff sounds really strange and a bit hard to believe. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm going to wait until I hear more before I start throwing things. Not point in getting my blood pressure up yet.

Now, if we take those spoilers at face value what does the return of the Empire of the Hand mean when it comes to Captain Cardboard? Did he know that it continued to exist, unlike Formbi claimed? What is his relationship to it post-TSW? Was the hunt for poor Alema Rar just a feint and did Luke go and give the Imp Remnant on a platter to an agent or a high ranking member of the Empire of the Hand, thus bringing into existence what he tried succesfully to avoid in HoT, aka unification of Imp Remnand and EotH? Could this explain the continued Moff dislike towards the Fel tyrants in Legacy, a result of a now quite possible de facto annexation of the Imp Remnant by EotH? Certainly it could well explain the Chiss Moff if nothing else...

 

Great job, now go back to elementary school and learn how to read. Maybe next time just copy&paste instead of writing your interpretation of spoilers because what you wrote here is totally different from what was written on the site with the spoilers.

Just summarizing all the interesting spoilers I saw, I'm taking it all with a large grain of salt too. Anything you'd like to correct?

 

I would love it if it were Tahiri and Jag that ended up together and founded the Imp Knights. In fact, I'm going to hope that's what John and Jan would have eventually given us.
