ROUND FOUR - MAIN THEME MAYHEM

Here's another audio fille (250k)

You will hear 3 "tracks". Each track consists of 3 well known themes mixed together. They are all the main themes, not other cues from the soundtracks. Get 2 out of 3 in each track for half a point, and all 3 for a full point.

So there will be 9 themes in total for all 3 points. To get the half points, you MUST get 2 out of 3 in a particular track. Confusing I know, but it should be clearer when you listen to the track.

ohhh interesting. This one is a lot more difficult. I think i have all three tracks of the first section pinned down but I'm not too familiar with the 2nd section tracks. The 3rd section is annoying me because I know the tune but cant place it!

I must eem quite odd listening to this mish mash in the office over and over!

Each clip has 1 JW track, and 2 others.

And if you call them "songs" again, you will lose marks

 

Well, that helps me with the second one, but I've got the third JW theme. Man, this is tough! I've already got the first track down, I've got all but the JW theme on the second, but I'm having trouble picking out the third theme on the third track. I'll have to do some more listening.

its that third track! i can pick out two themes easily - but the third is harder to make out and recognise. Better go listen to it again

Giving my ears a workout, you are. I've got two from clip 1 and 1 from clip 3 on my first listen. Now giving it another go!

And the dominant theme from #2 I know I know, but I can't place it. Argh!

And I'm having trouble even hearing a third theme in #1, now that my ears are picking out the two I know.

 

I wonder which one from clip 3 you got

I can hear some familar themes. But I think UI'll sit out this one. As for the last one, I got them all. Luckey me. I'm surprised I got the 3rd track because I don't have a copy of it. I really want one too.

 

WOOP!! I figured out JW's theme from track 2!! Just one more theme to go!

Well, I've listened to it to the point where I can actually pick out the different tunes and hum them, I just don't know what they are.


Again, here's hoping that the answers don't turn out to be something that I know well...

And surely, Halibut, I've got to get some points for knowing 4 out of 9... just not in the right places.

 

If you've got 4, then 2 of them will be in the same clip, thus you get half a point

I expect I'll do this round again, but with SW cues
