My problem with 1 & 3 are that once I'd picked out 2 of the three, my ears would immediately go to them instead of working at the third one. With #2, it was that I'm not familiar with the Gump theme. Don't know how I missed JP though.

I know, I can't believe that I missed JP, as well! Which JP theme was it?

I only got JP because there was a distinct playing the main theme right at the end of the excerpt, when it is fading out. I got Forrest Gump because my concert band used to murder it occasionally. I got the other JW one's because they were obvious, but thankfully I don't know any of the others so I can excuse myself...

EDIT: by the way, Halibut, where's the next round?

    How about now?

Ok, here are 3 pictures of OST disc covers.

You can guess as many as you want for a maximum of 3 points, but if you get one wrong, 1 point will be deducted. So if you don't know one, you can risk it, but you will score -1 if you guess incorrectly.

All I want is the name of the film :)

    Good Luck!

How long will this contest go on for, Halibut?

It's just that I'm leaving for Europe wednesday week and I'll have to pull out then as I won't have access to a computer. It's a pity, I was really enjoying this...

Well, I waited until tomorrow, then I realised it was today, and I said I'd do it tomorrow, not today.

So I constructed a time machine, went back to yesterday and posted this so you would see it tomorrow, which is now today :D

So the answers were (as many of you knew)

    1) Star Trek 2 - The Wrath of Khan
    2) Legends of the Fall
    3) Beaches

    Here's the table

    Bright Sith 12
    TheBoogieMan 10.5
    Mastadge 9
    Brain 8.5
    Eugene_Meltsner_AIO 7
    Commander_Thigh 6
    The-Tennis-Ball-Kid 6
    outrider462004 5.5
    Forcefire 3
    mvwg3003 3
    Shadow_Of_Anakin 3
    TwilekJedi 3
    Jedi_Keiran_Halcyon 1

And back by popular demand, here's round 6 - STAR WARS SURPRISE

    Download this file (300k)

As before, you will hear 3 tracks, each comprising of 3 pieces of music mixed together. This time, they are all Star Wars pieces. Scoring is the same as before (1 point for all 3 in a track, and half a point for 2). This time, I want the film and the track name. You should get at least 2 in each one, but the 3rd one in some of them is a little trickier. (waits for everyone to get all of them right with no problem at all)

    ENJOY :D

    (Answers tomorrow :p )

Sent answers. Quite tricky, Halibut. If I had time I'd do them all...

I'm gonna have to pull out now. Gotta leave the country in a few days. Good luck to all the other contestents! I'm sure it won't take long for everyone to pass me (except bright_sith! *waives fist*)

It was fun, Halibut. Good job.
