That's one of the great things about computer desks, you can go online, and appear to be doing homework at the same time!!!

 

aren't the tides caused by the gravitational pull of the moon? tides are fun! so are waves, because then i can surf, or at least i would if i didn't leave two provinces away from the ocean, but it can't be much more difficult than snowboarding... except your feet aren't strapped on, how can you stay on a board if your feet aren't strapped on? skateboarding, yeah, because there isn't water, but surfing, hmmmm...

Tenel Ka - sorry, but snowboarding and surfing are very different, believe me. In the water, you steer with the front of the board, not the back. Skateboarding isn't as different from snowboarding as surfing, but there are differences, to be sure.

the front of the board? interesting... next year when i go back to tofino in the summer, i shall have to learn. It looks like a lot of fun, and any people who use the word "gnarly" in their vocabulary have to be cool.

 

It's funny this thread has survived so long . . . in JCL forum terms. Chissdude, there is a solution to your girlfriend dilema. I am in pretty much the same situation as you, I go to a public school with mostly morons who use pot and swear all the time, while I am a very intelligent person. OK, you go about finding a girlfriend in steps. Make a list of all the girls you would ever go out with from your school. Narrow it down to the ones you think might go out with you (the ones that aren't snobby and stupid). Then, flirt shamelessly with the girls remaining on your mental list. One of them will probably like you as well, and voila!

If all that fails, imagine you're going out with Jaina or something.
