PT The Official "I'm Going To See 3D TPM Tonight!" Thread

So, who's going? I hope you're all as excited as I am!

 

I'm going tonight with my Dad. I'm extremely excited! Never got to see TPM in theaters back in '99 (I was 6), so I'm pumped.

 

You're gonna love it! I saw it back in 1999 when I was in middle school, it was the BIGGEST thing that summer, I fondly remember playing pretend lightsaber fights in the gym with friends. Such a great time.

 

I'm seeing it midnight tonight!

Saw it 13 years ago when I was 13. I was also in middle school at the time and it was indeed THE event of the summer. Can't wait!

 

Freshly showered and dressed, myself and my girlfriend are on our way! Enjoy it, friends! It's like 1999 all over again! May The Force Be With You All, and thank you Mr. Lucas!

The film pulled in 1.1M at the boxoffice over night. A solid start, in the number 1 position, for a film that "nobody likes"

I'm going tonight (Friday) at 7:00 with my Mother and Sister.

 

My son (5 years old and seeing SW on big screen for the first time) and I will be seeing it Saturday afternoon.

 

The only reason I'm going to see this movie again is because I just want to see it on the big screen again. Being shown in 3D is not relevant to me. The 3D effects for "AVATAR" didn't exactly rock my boat.

 

Seen it!! I had a great time SW on the big screen; priceless!

 

Seen it twice and it was an amazingly fun experience! There is nothing like seeing it with a room full of people. Clapping, cheering and on the way out smiling happy faces all around!

I plan on going at least a few more times!

 

I will likely see it tonight if my cold goes away.

3D VICEROY GUNRAY! CAN YOU DIG IT?!?!

Seriously though I wish I had been like 5-10 years younger when it came out. Trying to discuss this wonderfully imaginative film with my Gen-X contemporaries (I'm 32) is a drag. You kids don't know how good you have it!
