They should go for the washouts on Bandomeer. Some may habour resentment, and want a career change . . .

torbin's only canon appearence in the Corporate Sector doesn't paint him in a flattering light. Not many Dark Jedi almost die in a pool party.

*sigh* The Agricultural Corps is not an outlit for Jedi "waste", it's a vital element of the Republic. The Jedi don't just send students to Bandomeer; they visit worlds all over the galaxy, such as Aduba-3. Jedi not selected as padawans are also reassigned to the Exploratory and Diplomatic Corps.

Are there any pictures of the Imperial Inquisitors, minus Jerec?

Tremayne has an icon around here somewhere, and Loam Redge is in Galaxies.

Okay, Torbin seems to be force sensetive enough to beat a person who could defeat a student of Darth Vader (Arden Lyn who defeated Tremayne). So I'd wager he wasn't just a Judiciary but a all out Jedi...or perhaps at least a Agrikid who went into another profession.

Moxin was listed as nonforcesensetive too by the RPG stats of him, he was just an obscenely good torturer.

(WEG games has been overruled, Sate Pestage was non-forcesensetive in their writings)

Sancor was the new Inquisitor from LOTJ 2.

Vialco was indeed Tremayne's apprentice; upon his death, he was replaced (ironically) by Jaalib in that position.

Shouls Jerec's apprentices...or at least Maw...be considered Inquisitors?

Ameesa Darys, who was killed by Arden Lyn (she, meaning Darys, killed Roganda Ismaren's brother)

Should Jerec's apprentices...or at least Maw...be considered Inquisitors?

I would imagine so since Jerec and the rest were part of the Pentastar Alignment's Inquestors. The Inquestors included many more non-force sensetive.

It's the Inquisitorius. WotC uses Inquisitorium and Inquisitorium interchangeably, but -ius would be masculine and -ium neuter.

Kanos likes his Imperium too. ;)

Why don't they just call it the Inquistion?

The databank's latest update has a tidbit:
Apailana's refusals to the Empire were subtle at first. She kept the name Republic on many of the governing consulate offices in Theed, refusing to change their titles to reflect the new government on Coruscant. Inquisitor Malorum, one of the Emperor's key agents in this period, found Apailana's little gestures frustrating. Diplomatically, the Naboo appeared to cooperate with the Imperials in their self-governing, but somehow their cooperation remained a slippery thing. Even though the Naboo politicians seemed unfailingly polite, he could never quite get a straight answer out of anyone.

Have any of Jude Watson's Inquisitors shown any aptitude of Force-sensitivity at all yet? Malorum was standing in the same room as Kenobi and never noticed him, and I recall Sancor actually wielding a blaster and dying quite pitifully. Do you think Jude knows that these guys are elite Dark Jedi?

If so, she's throwing away a potentially great plot hoojib...

    Non-Force users hunting Jedi... [face_thinking]

I agree that would be interesting, but the Empire already has stormtroopers and bounty hunters that fit the bill. Even remember Jabba's line to LUke in ROTJ, "I was killing your kind back when being a Jedi meant something". The Inquisitors are supposed to be special.

It was the Pentastar's Politorate, Judgment, Insurrection, and Protectorate branches which presumably shared jurisdiction with the Inquestor's office (or subsumed it); at the end of the day, according to what I seem to remember the SW Adventure Journal saying, the "mundanes" outweighed the Force-adepts by a significant factor in Kaine's new government.

Too, there wouldn't have been terribly much cultivation of new darksider ability by that point post-Endor, considering the Pentastar's severe isolationism. Talent like that would've been at a severe premium.

Absolutely -- in The Last of the Jedi #3, Malorum tries to Force-***k-block Vader himself in the Jedi Temple ruins...he fails quite miserably, of course. Mostly because Vader ignites another rage-powered Force storm. But Vader notwithstanding, Malorum's got more than a few skills up his robes.

    This part:

...ties into the fourth book's story premise, along with various levels from Battlefront II:

    [image=http://www.starwars.com/eu/lit/young/img/20051103_bg.jpg]

Ex-Jedi Ferus Olin has been imprisoned by the Empire. His crime? Trying to save the Jedi Order.

The sinister Empire won't be able to hold Ferus for long -- not when he has a friend on the inside. But escaping is only part of the problem. Ferus's quest is going to take him to the planet of Naboo, where a secret vital to the survival of the Jedi and the entire galaxy is being kept...and is in danger of being revealed.

In order to keep this secret, Ferus will have to face the ruthless Inquisitor Malorum. A battle will be fought -- and lives will be lost.

Who will die on Naboo? Find out in April 2006, with the publication of Death on Naboo, the fourth book in The Last of the Jedi series by bestselling author Jude Watson. The dark times are sweeping the galaxy as the Empire continues to rise as chronicled in this series from Scholastic, Inc.

    Buh-BYE, Apailana.
