The Official JC.N GL Jedi Knight Wing (Includes Ladder Tournament)

Too bad you had so much toruble getting people to join. I don't get it. A year ago there were tons of newbies that woudl kill to play JK...

This is the first tournement, and there was a lot of "fine tuning" (mods, force powers etc) to tweak (ie. argue about). We will do this again, without all the advice for 50 oldbies AND advertise it on the tf.n/games page.

Consider this a trial run

Also, I would like to mention that sabers-only JK is not worth playing unless you are using SBX. But oh well, I won...

 

What does SBX do, exactly?

Yeah sorry, can't play tonight, doing research (fun fun). I will really try to to participate more once this gets more organized and more peple join. It kinda fizzled this week. like I said- put "newbies welcome" in the title, and you will get 6,000 people

 

Well that Idea fell through like a tonne of bricks.

So here's the deal.

There's a VIP ship still waiting to be won, so I was thinking, maybe, deathmatch, next Friday 21st.

Then the JO Ladder can lead the way.

BTW, need someone to take lead of the JO Ladder thread. Work it out among yourselves and that, need something similar to the first page of this thread doing but JO instead of JK.

Right now I believe I have the highest score? How about I'll fight off any contenders for a while - if I lose, that person fights off contenders for a set period of time.

For example-
I'd be the reigning champ
Let's say for the next 3 days I'll take any challenge posted here. If I lose, the person who beat me is the reigning champ. They must take any challenges in the next 3 days. If they lose, etc, etc...

Not a perfect system, but it could work.

The rule would be anyone can challenge the champion and they must take any challenges posted within those 3 days. The actual fights can take place after the 3 days - that's just the time available to challenge....

How does that sound?

I'll work on the JO ladder if you guys want. I'll have to test some things out (for example does a kickass machine or a good internet connection mean more with the Q3 netcode so I can post some guidelines, etc.) first, but hopefully I can set one up next weekend - today is Father's Day and I'm working all next week.

edit: and Terra, if that's the way it's gonna happen, I'd be glad to steal your VIPship from ya. I actually want the cool icon more.
