The guy is so cool. I nearly fell out of my seat laughing when he Force Pushed C-3P0. This is for you Kit!!!!

How can you not like a Jedi who smiles during battle? Then hacks and slashes his way through the ground battle.

Now that's scary.

 

That smile is the best part of the Jedi battle! My brother and I laugh our arses off when it happens! Funniest part of the whole movie. I hope he puts up a good fight when he dies in Episode III. I just pray that he doesn't die like a punk...like that guy who tries to kill Dooku and gets shot of the ledge.

 

I thought Kitster became Boba Fett ...

Kit Fisto is awesome. He's always smiling. Can't he just frown once. I mean, you could tell the guy the worst news possible, and he'd have that silly grin on his face.

 

"Kit Fisto, nearly all of your fellow Jedi have been killed in the Arena battle. What do you have to say about that?"

*Kit smiles*

 

He's just happy cause he's going to Disneyworld.

 

Kit Fisto is of course DA BOMB....ive never seen any other jedi that actually didn't act seriously when he fought and just had one hell of a time...now thats my kinda jedi

 

Wow, I am amazed that this many people liked him. Personally, he became my Jar Jar Binks in this movie. Thank goodness he didn't speak. Then again, maybe if he did more than smile or look like Bob Marley I would have liked him.
I loved the movie (seen it 6 times,) but I just didn't find him all that cool.

 

you know, he doesn't actually have to die in E3

 

my god you didn't hear him speak? Didn't he contact you telepathically through the screen in the movie theatre and say "Lucas made me while he was on lsd and watching MIB"...good lord...he probably won't even be in ep.3

 

Kit Fisto is the ultimate Jedi, even in the heat of battle he is able to ignore events around him and actually enjoy the moment.

Don't dis the guy just because he shuns the limelight, realising that it's the role of a Jedi to help others without being noticed or seeking recognition.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was the Jedi that Yoda told his younglings to look up to.

Perhaps:
"Like Master Fisto you must be"
"A Jedi from the old skool he is"
"In the heat of battle, want him by your side, you will"

 

Kit Fisto is the best Jedi. Period. Well, I am making exceptions for Mace Windu

 

Fisto is okay. I actually prefer Luminara, Adi Gallia, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and of course: Yoda.

 

Ki-Adi-Mundi makes me chuckle! He so wants to be in the movie the Cone Heads

 

I think Mace is jealous of Kit, AOTC showed us the amount of concentration that Mace needed to battle in the arena, just look at the expression on his face.

Whereas Kit is so in tune with his Jedi powers and so relaxed at the same time that he can laugh, in the heat of battle!.

I think Mace is worried that Kit may take over his role as Yoda's favourite.

 

i read somewhere that Kit is /or was Mace's Padawan. Any info on that?

oh, side note. Does Georgie like aliens with head tails or what? Shakk and Kit and Twileks, Oh my...

 

Kit Fisto is one of the greatest Jedi there has ever been, this is an inscription entitled- Kit Fisto: Jedi Master. It is on display in the Jedi temple. It was inspired by his heroic actions in the arena.

When all the sky was wild and dark,
When every heart was wrung with fear,
He rose serene, and took his place,
The great occasion's mighty peer.
He smote armed opposition down,
He bade the storm and darkness cease,
And o'er the long-distracted land
Shone out the smiling sun of peace.

 

As the starter of this thread it warms my heart to see the love of Kit being expressed here.

Love the inscription from the Temple wall.

That's what I like to see, a Jedi who enjoys his work!

 

Kit in an interview after the arena battle illustrated the code that he lives by:

"A general is well advised
To achieve nothing more than his orders:
Not to take advantage of his victory.
Nor to glory, boast or pride himself;
To do what is dictated by necessity,
Not by choice".

He went on to add:
"For even the strongest force will weaken with time,
And then its violence will return, and kill it".

If only all the Jedi were as wise and cool under pressure as Kit, if this were the case I think many lives may have been saved.

 

Not only does Kit enjoy his work, he also understands the nature of duty. Duty is central to a Jedi's life - A warrior lives on duty. Duty is what gets you through the dull boring parts.

He is not envious of the celebrity Jedi Skywalker and Kenobi, he knows his duty is to be the greatest Jedi and live his life accordingly. He doesn't want to hang around with phoney politicians and senators, or act like a second rate private detective.

He understands that he must be ready for action when the moment arrives, that is why he is so happy in the arena battle. In many ways this is the pinnacle of his training, he has not wasted his energy on other foolish pursuits.

Look for Jedi in any dictionary and you know who's smiling face you will see!.
