HOLY ****, THAT IS BEAUTIFUL
Edit: like, ****, it's perfect
Yeah, great work Joe. And great timing with the Kenobi novel coming out next month.
AWESOME!!!! And yeah, perfect timing with the new novel.
@XJapanRoX! I also checked out your new webcomic, "The Siren of Dathomir", and that was excellent! Wonderfully put together, and the voice acting sounded professional as well. Since this is only Chapter 1, I really look forward to the next installments. Keep doing what you do best!
You guys are way too kind! I'm so glad you dig it!
Thanks much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and are looking forward to Chapters 2 and 3. I'm working hard on them. And I have to give credit where credit is due -- James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Plo Koon and Obi-Wan on the Clone Wars, was kind enough to lend his voice to all of the characters in "The Siren of Dathomir." Even the Siren herself, thanks to a pitch change. So the reason the voice acting is so professional sounding is because the person doing the voice acting is as professional as it gets! haha Thanks for the kind words, I'll pass them on to James!
This is awesome.
Photoshop artwork I created...
"THIS WILL END IN TEARS"
Tears of joy. But yeah, that looks very good, better than the piece in Visions depicting the same thing.
Haven't added anything here for a while, so here's something I started months ago after the season 5 finale.
Bwah ha ha ha ha, NICE!
That is awesome!
Thanks. I feel I've really added something to this page. :b
My instant gut reaction was that the Barriss Offee drawing reminded me of the insane Jessica Rabbit character from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, with perhaps a touch of Professor Crocker.
Another drawing of the one and only Savage "Randy" Opress. I did use an official reference for this pose--as a matter of fact, I've got an album with dozens of rare official images of him that I use for practice drawings like this. Hopefully someday I'll be able to draw him without a ref, but for now...yeah.
Anybody mind me reviving a dead thread for some Commando art? Not from the show, but Vol 6 of Dark Horse's Clone Wars Adventures! Hope you guys don't mind me and my technicalities! It's the first commission of a series of 4.
Another commando in the same series...Hope y'all dig!
I can just hear her cackling like a crazed witch.
There's a scene I saw in an episode of Scrubs years ago... in which they realized they were going to need a real tiger woman to force someone (possibly Cox) to do something. JD's exact thoughts in his head were "I needed a real witch". Cut to a shot of Jordan with green face doing this outrageous, shrieking, high pitched witch cackle. Like some kinda deranged banshee.
That's the laugh I had in my head when I saw
@Togruta 's picture.
@CeiranHarmony just introduced me to this most bizarre fan-made TCW comic. It's extraordinarily well-done, despite starring the likes of um... Riddick and Tenth Doctor.
I started looking through that and then ran smack bang into
Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content)
Ventress doing it with Riddick.
I think my WTF meter exploded.
Ventress doing it with Riddick.
So that's the name Obi Wan goes by now....
Hey, all! More TCW style art, here's an animation test for my motion comic (and a little still image to go with it, for fun). It's from the P.O.V. of a zombified Republic Clone Commando. Fans of the video game will catch some details I included from the game. The actual sequence will be much different in the finished motion comic, but I wanted to get an idea of how I would approach the actual animation (there were quite a few moving pieces in this shot!). As always, hope you dig!
...if I get nightmares tonight I know who to blame.
