The *OFFICIAL* let's all see AOTC on Saturday, June 8 (formerly the 'STOP complaining....' thread)

Oh crap, on Saturday, I have a college test at 8am...

...at 8am...

...I'll have to like crawl to the movie theater...I'll be dead...but I'll go.

Good news!

I've successfully broken through the barriers of the official site, and started a thread about Star Wars day on June 8th. Everyone seems to agree with the thread so it may not get locked.

Anyway, EVERYONE GO THERE and rally support!

My name on there is Samurai Yoda...find my thread, and post!

 

I will be there on Saturday, but here in Canada AOTC is still number 1 anyway.

I will see it on Saturday. WE WILL BOOST THE BOX OFFICE......US THE FANS!!

Saturday June, 8 it is....

 

Let's see things to do this weekend... buy a new golf club set, see Star Wars, clean my house, see Star Wars, run errands, see Star Wars, hang out with the girls (Sunday), see Star Wars, work on marketing project, see Star Wars... I don't guys, I may be too busy on Saturday to see Star Wars... Kidding! I think that's a great idea! I have a feeling that the Sum of All Fears will fade out pretty fast... but then there is Minority Report... but I will do my part and go see Star Wars as many times as I can.

 

I remember the fan days back when TPM came out. I don't know if they helped the daily box office back then, but let's hope they work this time. If Sum of all Fears has a big drop, there is a chance AOTC can strike back next weekend

 

Not to throw cold water here but I say give it some time. Maybe the 14th. That way we can get the word out to every single star wars website and create a "fan day" like was done for TPM. There was even placards and badges and flyers done. JMHO.

(P.S.) If that idea goes through, let them know at Star Wars' official sites' message board, because I posted a topic there about seeing it the 8th.

But I agree with that idea even more.

I think both weekend would be good. We could try for it this weekend, but really work hard to get as much as we can for the next weekend... maybe SW could take both!

I am so jealous! I don't think there is a digital theater in MN.... I would have to go to Chicago to see it on a digital theater... BUT I will be in Vegas over the 4th of July weekend and there are digital theaters there!

And I told them about the idea of moving this to the 14th. But like I said, why not see it both weekends?

I mean...it's not a problem, at least for me. I realize people have things to do, but if we can skip work and school to see Episode II opening day, surely we can see it sometime during Saturday.

So, go to the Episode II forum at the official site, find SamuraiYoda's thread (me) and post!

 

I really wish y'all could see it in digital :/. I've seen it both ways, and I'm telling you, it is phenonmenal. I think by the time Ep III comes out, they will be more spread out through the country. At least 1 in every major metroplex. The one here in Dallas is packed for just about every showing.

I mean- I know he's got tons of money, but he works very hard to bring us these movies...like he said, it takes 10 years to do a trilogy. People, that's a HUGE chunk of life. Lucas deserves every penny he gets, as do all movie directors.
