The official let's get Obi Wan a girlfriend thread

You would assume from the actor (Luke was annoying since Mark Hammil influenced that. Other actors may direct their characters a certain direction so...) that Obi-Wan woudl sleep around a bit or whatever.

Actually Ewan McGregor has been married and a father since he was 24 years old, six years ago. He doesn't sleep around. So if that was the case, then at the worst Obi-Wan would be very devotedly in love with one woman like Ewan is with his own very lovely wife.

However, I'm with Dark Lady Valeris. No girlfriends for Obi-Wan. Jude Watson can do want whatever she wants, but Jedi must have the most serious minds and complete committment. One may fall off track once in a while in the "not getting it on" area but that doesn't mean Obi-Wan would be one of them.

His recklessness didn't come from going against Jedi rules but from being reckless with his own person basically, throwing himself into those fights with abandon in TPM, doing certain things which are spoiler material but which are, though very brave, quite reckless especially coming from a Jedi master. (Let's just say it involves the scenes that new Obi-Wan Coruscant action figure is involved in). Reckless doesn't necessarily mean going against the Jedi codes.

Tahl and Qui Gon and Kidi-Adi Mundi whose on the Jedi Council of all things.

Exceptions can be made

 

Whoever said Qui-Gon and Tahl were exceptions? No one knows about them except each other. We don't know the Council would have made an exception. I'd be willing to bet they wouldn't have because both of them have padawans. Poor Bant, her master ignored her even worse than Obi-Wan's ignored him....::sniff::
