The Official Master Hotel List & Discussion: Who will be where.

My reservation was at the Hilton but I've been on the waiting list for something nearer. I checked today and was able to move to the Westin. I'm much happier now since I wanted one of the hotels across the street.

That means my queen suite at the Hilton is now open unless they've already moved someone into my slot. According to the housing bureau there have been several cancellations. If you are interested in a change I recommend contacting them to see what's available.

 

Just researved with Courtyard marriott today--had oepnings. Across the street, on the corner! Yes!!!

Okay, I have a question, the Courtyard Marriot (Mos Erriot) is the one that is cadi-corner to the convention center? Whichever one is there, that is the one that I'm in (with my parents).

Yep I am staying at the Quality Inn and Suites near the airport. I just looked at it and it said nothing was left

The guys at the SW housing bureau moved me from the Courtyard Indianapolis at the Capitol to The Hampton Inn Downtown!!

I know I'm listed at the Best Western and the Crowne Plaza. You can take me off the Best Western list... better to be closer.

But, what's this -- no one but two of us at the Crowne Plaza (the train hotel)? It's connected by a skywalk, so you can't beat it for the location. And it's a big hotel; hopefully it's not full of non-Star Wars guests (oh! The horror!) LOL.

For anyone who has not reserved a room, the CIII Housing Bureau is now full for reservations. They are opening a waiting list, but no longer are accepting any reservations. It is posted through the Housing Bureau website. Just thought I would mention it.

Fortunately, I got my reservations made last week at the Courtyard Marriott. But I really wanted to be in the Marriott, so I've been checking everyday. Today they finally posted the above announcement.

 

I just went to conventionhotelguide.com and the Marriott Indianapolis Downtown was open. $269 a night from the 21st - 24th...but still open...

 

Okay...I did it!

I'm at the:

Encono Lodge -Downtown- (aka Endor Lodge).

Yay! I'll be getting some exercise in on the way to the Convention Center every day!

I just realized we have 34 official members attending C3... Not to mention all of our travelling companions

 

It looks like I'm going to have an empty room since the boy decided to ditch me. I have one maybe already, but if that falls through, it's up for grabs. Courtyard Marriot,Thursday - Saturday nights, $255.02. You get the room all to yourself.

Well it looks like I will be at the Econo Lodge. I am still looking for other accomadations, but the hope is looking slim. Last time I was at the Westin and it was nice to be so close. But this one is not too far.(1 mile) And just as an FYI I am an independant. No FF affiliations in my area.

 

Yes, if you book directly through the hotels, you may get a room. However, if trying to book through the CIII Hotel Reservations, they are booked now. They also offered the discounted rate. Good luck to all and see you at CIII.

Just an fyi. I checked web sites for several downtown hotels using the dates of 4/20 - 4/24 and there are some showing vacancies. There was availability at the Courtyard (around $200/nite),the Marriott but it was expensive (around $269/nite), and availability at the Embassy Suites at a great rate ($160 king & $180 double). They even had a cheaper rate if you prepaid. There may have been others but these stuck in my mind. Keep checking. I'm sure lots of people booked rooms just in case they could attend or in case they didn't get in the official room block. Looks like things will be opening up regularly.
