I knew Vader would start such a thread... like with the Republic vs Separatists one - when he feels that his fave thing is being disputed in another thread, he creates a voting thread to secure some support for the thing he loves.
    :p

Grievous is naturally winning. GRIEVOUS FTW! He is the enemy that is now, he is the villain of the show that needs attention and needs to be used.
He has proven time and again that he is both the better character and the better warrior.
It is natural for this thread to have so much support for the villain.

Maul is old news, he died and was brought back in the laziest ways possible just so Lucas can sell more figures of him.
His episodes have been mainly fan service and he is nothing, but a failed version of Sidious. The show should better focus on actual important characters like Grievous and Dooku that matter in the end. ROTS does not even mention the crazy zabrak.

The only reason Lucas is making him win in some cases is to make him look cool so kiddies would like him and buy his stupid figures.

If a story is written by a professional and not a hack like Lucas, Grievous would destroy the "has been" called Maul.

    ALL HAIL GENERAL GRIEVOUS!!!

I doubt that being a fancy cyborg with nifty advances can ever replace the force.

Brilliant strategist!? HUMBUG! Before Lucas took him and started milking him again, Maul was nothing more than Savage is now.

Clones, Boba Fett, Cad Bane and others have proven that the Force can be beaten by those who do not use it. Check and mate.

I never said a force user couldn't be beaten, so no check mate for you.

No, check mate for me. Grievous has proven time and again that he can kill force-user easy.

It can't replace the force but he doesn't need to replace it, he has a cloak. And look at how Maul screamed when he lost his leg from pirates, Grievous loses a hand all the time and just laughs it off.

Very good point... Grievous lost his arms, his legs and even got shot in the face in S1. He got a barrel explode in his face in S5...
And in none of those cases did he make a sound. He knows pain and he is not a girl like Maul that scream for the cutting of the end of one his legs. [face_laugh]

That's the thing, though: we never really got to see Maul do much in TPM aside from being sent to attack Amidala. We never really got to see who he was or what he was truly capable of because he was kept on a short leash and used as little more than an assassin. I mean, he was trained by Darth Sidious himself for years, you would think his master would've passed on a bit of his strategical knowledge to him.

Perhaps Grievous' aversion to pain has something to do with the fact that he's a droid?:p

And Grievous has beaten Ahsoka twice, with this show that's damn impressive.
And his stealth tactics in their first encounter were fantastic.

I'd love to see him go up against Mace or Yoda in TCW and see how well he does then. :)

    Votes are tied bro :p

Maul needed more development so imo that is the reason why he was brought back

To be fair Yoda/Mace would own Maul too.
Grievous could use the smash open the window to expose the bridge to the vacuum of space and job done [turn off the auto shutters first]

"The ability to destroy a planet..." Oh, never mind.

I don't see Force use alone making a character more enjoyable to watch.

Didn't Grievous grab her with his foot and smash her into the floor?
    Didn't she then flee?
Legit asking it's been ages not sarcasm :p

Agreed. Maul's more interesting and he's a better villian. While I think Grievous is cool in ROTS he's not that great as a villian in TCW.

Never said it did but people tend to see what they want to see. Some of my favorite characters can't use the force at all.

Oh yeah, when he grabbed her out of nowhere and played with her like a hunter.

Well, Bro... When my post you quote was posted, the votes were 4 to 7 with Grievous leading.

Grievous won, stop deluding yourself. She barely escaped... She was constantly running away and trying not to die.
