Seems silly to come all the way out to Manchester to meet people up and then plan on spending a little as time as possible with them, but thats just the way I see it.

Sorry Ogli, I agree with Cozmic. We're going down to meet Maggy, and spend time with the NW. We should stick together; it's just a matter of working out what to do that won't bore anyone else.

    hey guys.

it's been really really rough these days because of how everything led to moving out from my home in cheadle and having a really icy atmosphere there so that no way i would have wanted to subject any of you to my housemate and her passive-aggressiveness.

i did promise to host maggy and that won't happen either because right now i'm in a sort of exile at my teacher's, recovering from all of the recent crap.

i'm sorry for that, i really wanted to host you and cook for you and maybe this'll happen still in the remainder of the year.

so, meal in rusholme is FINE. as are probably all of the other things. i know that saturday morning i'll be doing a long yoga session so i can't come around but i'm up for whatever else you have planned, i guess, especially geeking out in the trafford centre or possibly storming H&M for a number of new tops :D

i guess it all sort of depends upon finding a new room but with any luck (and there hasn't been an abundance of that recently) i might have moved by the weekend and i hope to see you guys on friday night then.

[:D] Darth Fared. Hopefully you'll get sorted out soon. If you need any help, you know how to contact me.

What was the name of the restaurant you recommended in Rusholme btw? Haweli? Is this it - http://www.rusholmecurry.co.uk/viewrest.php?id=24 ?
Good list of places here tho as the site says, some may be gone.

Just checked bus times for Trafford Centre (Stagecoach 250), it takes about 30 mins on the 250 Stagecoach from Piccadilly Gardens, which should be fine. Not 100% sure of price of a return ticket - just seen this page where it says about a "Dayrider for £3.00" - "Unlimited travel on the Stagecoach and Magic Bus network in Greater Manchester, including night services". That may be our best option if we also go to Rusholme on the Sat after the Trafford Centre.

Are we eating out on Friday night too? Looking at Southport-Manchester timetable, and the fact I get back home sometime after 6pm, I think my best bet will be to get on the 7:30pm Manchester train which means I'll get in for about 8:30pm. I'll need to get food if anyone else hasn't eaten by then - suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your hassles, Darth_F- hope you get sorted out soon!

I don't mind re Friday night. I'll prob have a nibble in the car on the way down, but I can try and put myself off if we want to eat when we get there.....I'll go with the majority, I don't mind.

dayticket will be good for you, yes. there are ore than enough buses going down wilmslow road so no problem. i'll join you during the day i guess then.

oh yeah, and it's haweli. we don't have to go there specifically but i do recall seeing a large number of very cute waiters, so excuse my fondness for the place :p
