    ITT we discuss the breakout star of TLJ. I dub him Oliver the Screaming Porg. Clearly Oliver has replaced Han Solo as Captain of the Millennium Falcon so let us discuss all the wonderful adventures he and his new best friend Chewbacca are bound to get into.

    I heard they tried a jewel heist once but Oliver gave them away when he stubbed his talon on a wall corner.

    I'm now fairly sure I want to see Oliver the Porg and the Niffler from Fantastic Beasts in a buddy comedy movie where they can't help themselves from stealing stuff and screaming about it.

    My daughter is so excited that at least one porg makes it off of the island. She watched the trailer several times last night and then fell asleep clutching her porg pillow. I think Rian Johnson may have already created another generation as crazy as we all are.

    Are we assuming this porg is a stowaway as seen in the Blips cartoon?

    I was referring to the late 80's Disney film Oliver & Company though. ;)

    I'm surprised how much Porg backlash there is. People are comparing them to Jar Jar?? What. Why are people so opposed to cute funny things in Star Wars?

    My kids thought the porg was the best part. They liked the trailer and watched with solemn looks and then busted out laughing with delight when they saw the porg. I guess that's probably what most of us did last night.
