I love those pac-people and cute little sounds the video game makes when pac-man chomps on those bricks! The pac-man world is so cool and colorful! Adore pac-man, my friends, in this lovely adoration of pac-man thread....

Why is it that in every movie that someone is playing a video game in, you always here the sound effects from the old Atari Pac Man game?

OMG, B, you and Wormie need to compare notes about that! We already discussed this at length a while ago. LOL

 

Well then, if more people are talking about it, then this really is a problem. I mean, who do they think they are, trying to tell us some kid is playing Street Fighter, when his game makes those sounds? I'll talk some sense into them. What's the number for Hollywood?

 

That's too funny. That sound was in a recent commercial for Circuit City(an electronics store in the US). As soon as the guy entered the store that dinky Atari Pac-Man sound came on!

 

So, let's make a list of differences between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man*

1. Ms. Pac-Man has a bow on her forehead.






* Why not simply Pac-Woman?

Pac-Man Fever! I still have that old record. The Frogger song was a hoot.

 

When I was in elementary school, I had a Pac Man watch you could play the game on. It was the coolest thing and everyone had them.

 

Remember (you old-skoolers) when they sped the arcade machines up by 30% and had challenges on "That's Incredible"?

So who do you guys think was the toughest ghost? Inky, Pinky, Blinky, or Clyde?

I would have to say either Pinky or Blinky. Pinky had the speed, but Blinky had the mad pursuit.

Clyde was an idiot.

Also, in Ms. Pac Man, they replaced Clyde with another orange ghost named Sue. She didn't have any ghost breasts or anything, so it was kind of hard to tell she was female though.
