Tucson the *official* plans for a Tucson fanforce thread

Well I hope you can make it at 3pm. If not, no worries. I won't be able to get there any earlier though. However we do have atleast 3 people confirmed for then so we can still do the meeting if no one else can make it. When you said you could make it that day I guess that I kind of took the time for granted.

The important thing is that we're getting things started. Once it's an Official fan force then we'll setup a normal time and place for meetings. Not everyone will be able to make every meeting anyways.

That's right, the Tucson FF is taking it's first step towards becoming an official Fan Force!!!

Meeting information:

Location: Park Place Mall 5870 E Broadway Blvd
Date: Saturday August 31st
Time: 3pm
Subject: Getting started, hanging out, getting to know eachother discussing the future of the TFF, maybe going to see a movie too.

I have another name for our fanforce, it's sort of like the name from the Albuquerque fanforce.
But we should call ourselves The Mos Eisley FanForce What does everyone think?
BTW:We shouldn't give ourselves a name yet before we come up with several names we like then vote on a certain one or whatever

Something I haven't really thought about. Where are we gonna meet in the mall? I haven't been in that mall for over a decade so I have no idea where a good place to meet would be.

I'll be wearing an orange T-shirt (subject to change). In the KB toy store, standing next to the Star Wars toys. Or if you guys/girls prefer to meet somewhere else...

If any of your parents are unsure about you going, let them know that they are welcome to come to the meeting too.

Then they can meet me and Lucky_Charms and either leave after they're satisfied that we're not psychos or they can stay for the whole meeting.

Should be good times at the meeting
For those who don't know me, I live in Albuquerque, NM but go to the U of A here in Tucson. Over the summer I, along with a handful of other great people, helped to finally get the Albuquerque FF up and rolling. darthspino inquired as to whether or not I would like to come to the TFF's first meeting, which I'd be more than happy to do, if only I can find a way of securing a ride to the meeting place as I have no car.

 

If no one can give you a ride, how about you take a taxi or something?

 

I considered a taxi, but they're so expensive, and as a college student, I have little money

 

*sniff* I really wanted you to make it to the meeting

 

Atleast we've got a meeting at this point. Which *ahem* is this Saturday.
