She's a Liberal stooge anyway. No doubts where her vote will go on the sale of Telstra debate. Even though you'd have to be an idiot to invest in it after the dismal showing of T2.

Oh, please don't talk about T2! I bought so much of that after my T1 went well :(

    Soft spot, sorry.

I'm sorry to say but T1 and T2 will go down even further if the rest goes up for sale.

Look on the bright side though, you didn't buy into One.Tel, HIH or Ansett... or did you?

    :)

As for the Dmeocrats wanting her to give them her seat - there is no way they can POSSIBLY force her to give them her suit it is totally unconstitutional - plus she won the seat by herself and she derserves to keep it.

I think it is absolutely foolish of the democrats to force her to jump as she did, the party, and probably the country would be better off having her, and even more better off having her as party leader.

The reason it is unconstituional is because people, on election days, vote for people, not parties. if you look through the consitution you won't find a single mention of the word party anywhere (or prime minister for that matter!)

The Democrats are a joke now. I used to has a measure of respect for them but that has vanished now. How ironic it is that they call themselves the 'Democrats' yet they censor their own memebrs when they speak against party policy (I was asking myself - the Democrats have a policy?!?!?!?!)

    Shame, Natasha. Shame.

The problem with that is, is that when Meg Lees joined the party she legally agreed that any seat she won was for the party and if she left, she'd have to retire completely.

I don't think it's unconstitional for them to ask for it back, but I think that if any shake up that big happens, there should be a bi-election which can have her run as an independent.

You shouldn't have to pay for education. Our taxes should go to our services instead of foreign wars and rich shareholders.

Free education is wrong because not all taxpayers can or choose to have tertiary education. Education is very well funded anyway!

The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately... education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square.

Well they tax the life out of us anyway. And a lot of the money is wasted on stuff that taxpayers don't use.

Besides I'm for self interest - so I don't want to pay my uni fees :p ;) :D
