ST The Official R.I.P. Han Solo. Share your favourite moment of the old scoundrel

Extremely hard to choose just one. Such a brilliant, iconic character. A few contenders...

Saying he'll leave Leia and Luke to it.

Pretty much anything with 3PO. Comedy gold.

 

As he is my favourite character everything with him is beautiful. But, who can forget Han & Greedo, eh?

 

To Lando: "Well who says they didn't? But I aint crazy. You're the respectable one, remember?"

Also: "That's not how the Force works!"

 

His whole screentime in TFA.

There was a danger he'd be Harrison Ford on screen much like the Indy film but for the most part he nailed a grizzly old Han perfectly.

 

I'm out of it for a little while and everyone's having delusions of grandeur

My fav Han memory--- About 20 years ago (though it seems like last year), me & an old buddy were on our way to Corellia, but got stuck on Tatooine, unable to recharge my buddy's ship's power core [he bought a cheap, used core when he was on Lok]. We were looking at a 3-4 MONTH 'visit' on Tatooine until the replacement part might be shipped in.... So, at the only watering hole in sight, my buddy strikes up a conversation with Han. They hit it off pretty quickly [at the time they both had tween sons-- Han was like "Tell me about it! He thinks the galaxy revolves around him!"]. Han asked about our situation & said he could take us as far Nubia, as long as we didn't mind the smell of Wookies. Han could've shrugged us a "good luck, kid" & flew off. He didn't have to let us tag along, but he did. Better than turning into a piece of beef jerky on Tatooine, plus we got a ride in the Falcon! Thanks, Han!

"Better her than me!" Makes me laugh every time.

 

When Kylo gives him a "hug."

 

Definitely the moment where Greedo goes to shoot him first but Han uses his force power of Rubber Neck to avoid the laser bolt.

 

It's a shame we never saw a reunion of the big 3 characters in TFA. So the last time on screen we see them together was on Endor.

 

"Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?"

The look on his face when he says the last bit...

And it's already been mentioned twice but "That's not how the force works!"

Plus the bit with Finn, "I'm trying to make an escape plan and you're just doing this..." can't quite remember the exact line...

 

"Well why don't you use your divine influence and get us out of this?"

 

When Solo shoots that Stormtrooper on Takodana without even turning to look at him.

 

The Hoth rescue of Luke. Too bad Luke still ows him one (now forever).

When he was naive enough to think Ben would be able to come home after committing genocide...

 

I got to be honest Han's death might be my favorite Han Solo moment.

But if we're not counting that then "I know"

I love his all of his comebacks, wittiness and his whole character. I feel like it's a pretty clear representation of Harrison Ford, probably. He's got so much charisma.


But his death scene... "Take off that mask!" Never loses his balls.

 

Too many to list an absolute favorite, but this is one.
Han: Don't get excited!
Leia: Captain, being held by you isn't enough to get me excited.
Han: Sorry sweetheart, we don't have time for anything else.

Then Han walks off with a devilish smirk on his face. Gets me every time

 

In the OT: The whole "rescuing the princess" scene in ANH and of course the asteroid chase in ESB.

In TFA: I can't remember the exact phrasing, but he essentially says something like "Move, ball!" to BB-8. Gotta love Han's disrespect of droids!
