By "hardest", I meant "least interesting". Although the 2nd time round i flew through it, i loved it.

    Still disagreeing, "least interesting"?

Treebeard? The Rohirrim? Gimli and Legolas' orc slaying one upmanship? Priceless, every page.

For me the least interesting was Book 6. But then, Frodo gives me the irrates. Love you though Sam.

If you had read my above post, you would have noted that I now LIKE The Two Towers. Tree-beard is cool. The horse-riding people are cool. Everythings cool. So cut me a little slack, OK??

Now that depends on your point of view. Although you can't justify it as they are completely different methods of story telling. So it really comes down to what method of story telling you prefer.

Exactly.. It all comes down to personal preferences...

Such as.... would you rather stick bamboo sticks under your fingernails or dance on hot coals? Some people would pick the former, some the latter, it is up to them and let them live in solidarity with their precise decision making abilities..

    True, Grieyls [face_laugh]

And Marvin, will you have enough time to read up to the end of the Two Towers in time before December 26?
