I wonder if season 4 is on DVD yet...
UP!! Gosh, I can't believe that there were other people that watched Reboot, I thought that that show was so cool. I didn't know until today that it was Canadain, pretty cool. By the way, wired.com had an article about it in March of 1997. This is it Before there was Toy Story there was ... Reboot.
My favorite show when I was young, my favorite cartoon, my favorite CGI work, and my favorite YTV show (Uh-Oh! is second).
Best villains ever:
Best character designs ever:
Excellent voice work:
Awesomely nerdy computing references:
And best of all, a fresh, unique atmosphere that entrances me to this very day.
More great nostalgia:
Voice cast reunion
Mike the TV
Raccoon Hat Reggae
The complete series is now available on DVD from Shout! Factory and certain retail stores.
The series ended on a cliffhanger. Hopefully, we will hear the rest of the story someday...

Took bloody forever for seasons 1&2 to get to DVD.
Wish they hadn't made season4--not only is it not quite as good, but the universe was 80% sewn up at the end of season 3 with a nice song&dance. Season 4 just left a cliffhanger that never got resolved.
Holy crap, where did this old fossil come from?
This is still one of my favourite shows of all time. I too bought the complete series DVD when it came out and it's damn good to finally have it.
Season 4 is definitely not as good as the previous seasons but I think for the most part the story in Daemon Rising is quite good....it's just the execution where it fell short. I really liked how they explored the backstory with Dot's father and the failed experiment because it was actually referenced in a Season 1 episode.
My Two Bobs just seemed like an excuse for them to bring back Megabyte. The whole thing with Dot trying to decide between Glitch Bob and the other Bob just got too annoying at one point.
Yeah, parts of My Two Bobs were somewhat taxing, but after Megabyte showed up again, I think things picked up.
I remember buying all the toys, well, the figures. eBay loved me then--I was employed and wasting money like you wouldn't believe, tracking down all the old discontinued Reboot figures, including the Exo-skelleton and Bob's Car. Oh, and then the Series 3 figures came out. And then... The huge gap after season 3, when no episodes were made, and the figures took a dive.
Anyone know if the studio that bought the rights is going to, (this is such a stale and obvious 'joke') ReBoot ReBoot? Or are they going to "make it relevant"?
Unclear. They've shown teasers over the years as to a new series, which seems to be more of a remake than a continuation, but the info has been so little, plus nothing's been mentioned for a while now...
