    Would there ever be a chance of Lucas using the 'Thrawn Trilogy' for movies 7,8,9?

    Zero. It's set five years after ROTJ - it's now coming up on 28 years since the film was released. The Big Three are way too old to fill the roles required.

    It could be re-written to include new characters, with the old school making cameos, but I doubt very much that GL would have any interest in making a new trilogy of live-action features that was created by someone else. He's already indicated that he's got no intention of making the original Sequel Trilogy of Eps VII-IX, whatever that was, or whatever he considers it to be now.

    Star Wars films will never stop coming out. Mark my words it will not end with Lucas.
