Yep, it depends which computer you are on. Since I check Evansville and Bloomington, when I head to the Midwest listing, those don't show "!" next to them.

 

Since I do not care much for what passes as Sci-Fi these days, I was rewatching some old favorites. Has anyone seen the 1983 movie Krull with Ken Marshall and Freddie Jones and an early performance by our Good Buddy Liam Nieson?

That was a good movie. I was wondering, like Willow, could this movie take place in the Star Wars Verse as sort of ancient history? Of course, it was not created by Papa George or the same studio, but from a purely fan perspective, it sort of fits.

PS: Just FYI, one of my paintings at the Gallery got an award. I'm pretty excited.

 

Never seen it. I remember thinking it looked cool when it came out way back when though.
That's the one with the giant throwing star weapon and something about quicksand?

 

Yeah, that about sums it up. I just thought it was cool and had neat visuals. The opening sequence when the bad guys castle/ship lands on the planet was neat.

There is really no deep religious or mythological context, just a nice adventure movie. I suppose, I this point in my life, I like this stuff better than the new Galactica, which just gives me a headache.

Willow as Star Wars history was the April fools joke last year on SW.com. I don't even know if they did something like that this year... perhaps our "new" member Obi-gyn would know.

Jeez, just read that the cutie is engaged to some handsome guy that probably would not know a Rhodian from a Romulan.

Piddle Paddle It-----I'm going to start watching Galactica again. Something about most of humanity being decimated and there being no joy left in life is oddly appealing to me.

That and some pretty stressful things are going on at work that have caused me to question my own tenuois grasp of sanity.
To put it in terms fan boys and girls can relate....think the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Heres to Galactica....ye ha, great show..... LOL
