You know, all hate aside... I have read far worse books than anything from Twilight. FAR worse.

The fact that worse stuff exists doesn't make Twilight good.

I think we can all learn a thing or two from her vocab choices. Like how annoying it is when someone uses the same adjectives over and over.

 

Truly, Meyer is our generation's greatest wordsmith. Her ability to capture the raw human condition and portray it in such a beautiful fashion ahahahahahahahahaha okay I can't get through that even in jest.

 

Ever read Battlefield Earth? Yeah. That is far worse than the Twilight series.

Ms. Meyer successfully tapped into the simple fact that Dead Guys Are Sexy. I mean, just think how inexpensive and low-maintenance that relationship would be! You don't have to feed them. They don't snore in bed because...they don't breathe. They can't get sick and rack up medical bills because they're, y'know, dead. It's perfect! What girl wouldn't want one?

 

You'd better believe it. I was so on board with that ship.

Also, my very first fanfic OC was the Turquoise Ranger. I was a strange kid.
